It’s a little thick for me but it performed well when I used it so if you have it give it a go! It’s it’s too thick you can add some GAC 800 to think it, about a Tablespoon per cup. 😃🤗💜

I haven’t really been having an issue with bubbles with either the Satin or the Eggshell on the Glidden Premium. Every once in awhile I get a wayward can that I have to let sit for at least a month but lately they’ve been ok. The satin is a touch thinner so maybe 🤔.. have you tried the Glidden Essentials? I haven’t yet but was just curious maybe that’s an option.
Thank you so much! To prevent cracking make sure you are taking enough paint off your canvas as you are spinning or tilting (I’m guilty of this myself). Make sure there are no drafts or fans around your pieces while they are drying as that will make the surface dry faster then the layers beneath it. You can cover your pieces with a box, this will allow for more even drying. Also sometimes if it’s just a few small cracks that are along lines I’ll color them in with acrylic markers and it just becomes part of the piece 🤗💜
Curious, have you ever used a wet paper towel to swipe? I saw someone do that once, thought, how weird, but it works AMAZINGLY. Game changer for me for sure! I love your work BTW, between your personality and your art, you def keep me entertained! Karen too! 🤣 That's how I found you. Stay awesome chick!

I haven't gotten to experiment with it but it seems gouache paint is used in the same way watercolor is used but less transparent so you can properly layer it. It is oftentimes in a mixed media fashion with water color when you want sections with more opaque layers but still have a similar look to water color.
Gouche dries Matt matt matt! and is not waterproof so will become fluid again at the slightest drop of moisture unless you varnish it. Love your stuff BTW :)
Hi Nancy - so the cell activator is the term used in the blooms technique to describe the mixture laid down on top of your colors to create your cells. It’s a mixture of Australian floetrol and paint at a ratio 4:1. I have a recipe for the US floetrol (video #16) that works well but a little different, however, I just released a video yesterday with the US floetrol again and Amsterdam paint and it works almost as good as the Australian floetrol. So it’s basically the mixture to create your cells 🤗
My first video from you and I instantly subscribed! I'm not sure where you are, but here in Sterling, NY there is a huge music festival every year that lasts 3 days, 2 nights. They have an "Artists' Village" that is open to walk through all day, then at night, some of the vendors turn on black lights in their booths. I've seen a lot of cool paintings, but none like these with the 3D cell look. They would sell like hot cakes! Wherever you are, I would try to find a night venue where you could do the same. (P.s. I'm an art and music festival marketer.)

Gouche dries Matt matt matt! and is not waterproof so will become fluid again at the slightest drop of moisture unless you varnish it. Love your stuff BTW :)

Hi Nancy - so the cell activator is the term used in the blooms technique to describe the mixture laid down on top of your colors to create your cells. It’s a mixture of Australian floetrol and paint at a ratio 4:1. I have a recipe for the US floetrol (video #16) that works well but a little different, however, I just released a video yesterday with the US floetrol again and Amsterdam paint and it works almost as good as the Australian floetrol. So it’s basically the mixture to create your cells 🤗
I use that same spatula in my videos!!!💙😉

My first video from you and I instantly subscribed! I'm not sure where you are, but here in Sterling, NY there is a huge music festival every year that lasts 3 days, 2 nights. They have an "Artists' Village" that is open to walk through all day, then at night, some of the vendors turn on black lights in their booths. I've seen a lot of cool paintings, but none like these with the 3D cell look. They would sell like hot cakes! Wherever you are, I would try to find a night venue where you could do the same. (P.s. I'm an art and music festival marketer.)
