I think Mob was saying that he always knew that despite the lie of being an esper, He's a genuinely good guy.
@@tyriquesmith8850 Well not esper per say but he knew that even if Reigen lies he did that to make other people feel better without doing Mystic job, its especially fleshed out when Reigen was expalaing in his brithday episode.
I always took the "I always knew" scene to mean that Mob was saying he always knew Reigen was a fraud but that it didn't matter, because he was still a good person and mentor.

That and he admires Reigen’s people skills which is what Reigen ends up teaching him a lot of(not always intentionally of course or he wouldn’t be Reigen who’s power is Luck I am sure of it)

Reigen has always been Reigen. He always gave the same advices to Mob. But Mob changed: He is more social and can more easily think of his own. Reigen failed to see that, and that why his speech seems so unusual: Because it's not made for current Mob, but for past Mob

I think Reigen is great but not infallible. He's given Mob selfish advice for his own business' benefit before (like "join the stay at home club and make money working for me" when Mob clearly wanted to make friends). He just went too far that time and Mob rightfully pulled back.

I was really taken aback by how you misunderstood Mob's "I always knew" lol. Mob 100% knows Reigen is a fake, but he was emphasizing that it didn't matter to him because beneath that he's a good person.
35:35 honestly this scene of Touichiro lowkey regretting he didn’t take Mob’s hand that time is not talked about enough. Along with repeating what Mob had said (”people need other people, huh”), it’s such a great way of showing how his mindset has changed thanks to Mob and how much he wishes he had taken another path in life.
18:05- Reigen's callous remarks were similar to season 1, episode 2. Despite his concern for Mob's wellfare, he has always been slightly arrogant, dismissive, manipulative and cynical about other people.
The title should've been Everything Is Great About Mob Psycho Season 2 ;)
I feel like second part of the season was way too rushed here, really, I would give at least a few thousands of "wins" for the win counter xD

Should be Mob Psycho is the best anime and here’s why
I think Riegen offered Sarizawa to work for him not only to help him, but also so Mob would have time to be with his friends and not be pushed around for work whenever Reigen needs him- which is just pure. Also Dimple as Mob should've gotten a win, both for holy-crap-it's-Dimple-in-Mob's-body and for Dimple not taking advantage of it like he would've thought to do in the past. Other than that, everything was on point. This was an amazing season and I can't wait for nother one!!
I'm praying a new season comes out, but don't hold your breath, the story isn't over and in the manga the story ends with (Everything bolded is kind of a spoiler, not a huge one, but a spoiler, if don't want that don't read the bolded text) *Mob finally accepting himself and forgiving himself for the incident where he hurt his brother with his psychic powers* which is an AMAZING conclusion to the series, really ties it off in a nice way, not to mention it also ties off Regin and Dimple's arcs off nicely, even Sho and his dad get an arc, but the sad truth is that where season 2 ended, there isn't enough of the story left till the final conclusion for an entire other season to be made, even if they made a new season, they'd have to make it at LEAST 10 episodes, and to stretch how much of the story's left into 10 episodes... the pacing would be way off and that's even if they get permission to do it since Mob psycho s2, while EXTREMELY good, didn't perform as well as it should have. :(

Just clarifying Mob's "I've always known" scene: He knows Reigen is not a psychic, and he has always known. But he doesn't care that he isn't a psychic, because he knows Reigen is a good guy. It's not deep down or anything, it's just irrelevant to Mob.
I wouldn't say Reigan was ooc in episode 6. It's certainly a side we don't see often, but not one that was never there.

6:50 s2 is easily one of the best animated shows ever.

@@Aklipse47 I mean jojo part 5 and aot were this year and I'll argue aot is a better show at least comparing these two seasons (I'll also argue jojo is better but I'm pretty sure it would be up to continuing series and not anime of the year). But yeah it should win the best animated show at the very least though we all know mha fanbase won't let that happen.
Edit: Also forgot about kimetsu which had an animation at least as impressive in the latest 3 eps so I'll be fine with that winning and mob second place or vice versa.

One Punch Man is, at its heart, a comedy bit. "How bored would Superman be, and wouldn't it be funny if he got no credit neither."
Mob Psycho 100 is real. It's deeply personal to One, and he's taking it seriously.
Ok so things I would've add to this complation:
-The scene in ep.4 where dimple takes mob's body and fights with mogami, and also the fact that we see more facial expressions on mob's body (plus the fucking animation during their fight like omfg-)
-The scene in ep 11 I think?? Where reigen carries mob like it's his father it'S JUST- MMMMMMM SUPER CUTE TO ME
-AAAAAAND the scene in ep 12 where reigen shows up with a gun with the intention of defending mob. I mean I'm sure he knew he was gonna get hurt or even die, but he did it anyways
-SERIZAWA WITH SHORT HAIR SERIZAWA WITH SHORT HAIR SERI
The badguy didnt create the Broccoli. Mob tried to absorb all the energy and in turn transferred it to the Broccoli seeds in his pocket.

You remember wrongly, he's eager to fight Mob once he senses his energy, he just gets knocked down by Reigen before it can happen.
@@AnimeSinsNEW no no.. There's a moment later where Mob gets actually mad cause he heard that guy all that wreckage & disaster was caused for fun. Shimazaki was down & said he didn't care about the world domination stuff. Just did all that for fun... & Mob got really pissed over that
Im really happy you took the time to go through the ghost family scene. If Mob had exorcised them i wouldnt have been able to continue the show.

10:55 actually made me shed a tear, this is easily one of my favorite moments in the anime.
This anime has one of my favorite moments, when Mobs big boy friend, the leader of the gym boys, just goes pure fuckin caveman and starts making the hulk blush. He knew he was outmatched, had no idea of the power he was fighting (non espers can't see the magic) yet that dude saved mob, absolute unit.
Ngl, in terms of support characters The Body Improvement Club had to be by far the best. Especially when the entire club itself would lay down their lives for their members, even Mob. Especially in the scene where the leader risked getting crushed to death just to keep mob safe... that scene almost had me in tears ngl
One of My favourite moments in anime came from this anime.

And seeing dimple say a muscle built from physic powers is no match for muscles built from dedication

20:38 I think that Mob does know Regen isn’t a psychic, but he doesn’t care and just cares that Regen is a good person more than anything else and this was his way of telling Regen that.

Can i just make a mention on how the shadows are done in that scene?
The humans and the spirits have each their shadows pointing opposite ways of eachother. While Mob has two shadows pointing both ways that then connect together, further showing what Reigen said.

Another reason why this fire scene is perfect. Mob is walking through the fire with no problems because hes a super powerful Esper. Yet he doesnt take a notion of it, and constantly talks about how his family is safe because they’re reliable, careful and smart. Showing that Mob genuinely believes his powers doesnt make him special in the slightest.
Hey, you should've considered how before the final battle (end of ep12 or start of 13, idk) it shows all the important figures in mobs life (family, friends, etc) and the last one to appear is FKIN MOGAMI

Thank you for loving this show. Although less popular, Mob Psycho 100 is one of the best anime. Anyone that loves and appreciates this anime is a good person in my eyes. I hope more people will come to realize its greatness.
I think Mob does know that Reigan isn't a real psychic. During that scene the implication I got was that Mob has always known, but it was irrelevant, because Reigan is still a good person who has helped Mob deal with his powers, whether or not Reigan had any himself.

He can feel people like him that have power and he can even measure their power level , His brother kept saying he don't have the power but Mob kept telling him you will find it till he really found it .

I feel like reigen showing up w a gun in the fight to help mob should get a win I love their dynamic and their character growth they both had together this season. It always warms my heart how reigen throws himself into a dangerous situation he has no hope of handling to help or prevent mob from having to hurt someone since he is just a kid. really shows how much he truly cares about him

At the outro of Mob Psycho, you can see Mob holding a sunflower. He actually confessed to Tsubomi but got rejected, before he had calmed down from turning into ???%

Also they have been working a lot lately so is understandable that Reigen is kind of tired and a little more of a dick. It's true that it feels out of character, but that's mostly because the show spend a lot of time on the good aspects of Reigen but yeah, he was still really manipulative and selfilsh

Totally adore your videos. I came to this channel for FMAB and stayed for... well, any other anime I watched.
Even with all of these wins, you still cut out a ton of my favourite scenes in the show. Like mobs speech to the claw grunts, him almost losing it in mogami's world, his scream or the narration that leads clues us in that this is courage 100% when fighting mogami etc.
I literally started crying like before half way through the video 😭 shit man this show hits me in my feels

if i did this i would have immediately given at least 100 wins just for the OP but that probably still doesnt cover every hidden detail, double meaning and incredible fight scene that was packed into just around 100 seconds (this may sound hyperbolic but Mob Psycho S2's OP is THE BEST OP OF ALL TIME). Anyway in my eyes this is the Best Anime Of All Time (or at least my favourite).

I think Reigen out of his character ignoring Mob's dreams was initially One's (I mean One, the writer of Mob and OPM) initial plan to do a posessed Reigen storyline. The alleyway scene really looks like something really strange was going on with him.
