😀 they give you unconditionally love. They have great personalities, they are very protective, even between my husband & myself. He gets so jealous when we sit 2gether. It’s funny. He’ll get up & squeeze in between us. I always say he was reincarnated from someone that really loved me. 😂🤣 he really is my love & believe me this is coming frm someone that never wanted a dog. Once I saw him @ 3wks old, there was no turning bk. ❤️

Doxies like Chis take no BS from any dog big or small and sure as heck stubborn with their caretakers.

We sure as heck do not deserve DOGS, but I say THANK GOD ALMIGHTY daily HE gave them to us

Very smart dogs. My grandfather raised them, my father gave me one for my 11th birthday. Her name was Greta. She passed when I was 21! Roll forward to now and I am sitting here with my doxie I rescued soon to be 13 years old. Yes I have had him 13 years. The best dogs ever!!!!❤

I have two 6-month old dapple doxies. One is deaf and the other has extra digit on her hind legs. They're angels once up on the couch, but when they're outside, oh man they chew on anything that fits in their mouth! Nonetheless they are adorable.
Having grown up with doxies it has been my experience that they will chew on just about anything, whether or not it fits in their mouth. If it doesn't fit it gets drug all over the house. Lol
"Now, ... if I could only reach the peddles, I could drive to the doggy store and the doggy park, any time I wanted." He's thinking.
What do I love the best? I can't decide. The perked up ears, the paws when they sleep on their backs, the eyes looking at you begging, their personality, their cuddling sitting on their hind quarters... !?
Dachshunds are the best dog breeds in the world I’ve had dachshunds in my life for the last 40 years and they are extremely intelligent and they learn quickly and love to be praised when they do something right so praise them always and reward them too

I call that inside out ear thing " weenie ear" so I tell my Stewie to fix his weenie ear and he'll shake his head to put things right again. 😁💞💜💞
