SOOOOOO excited that this series has returned! I can’t even count how many times I’d watched the 21 previous videos in the playlist. Jason is by far my favorite voice in mixology. Please keep making more of these videos!
No recipe card in the video or recipe listed in the description? This is a wonderful-sounding cocktail but man, it's annoying to have to filter through the entire thing to parse the recipe. For those who are frustrated like me, here's the full recipe: 0.5 oz (15 ml) Mezcal 1.5 oz (45 ml) Tequila Blanco 1 barspoon Absinthe 0.5 oz (15 ml) lime juice 0.5 oz (15 ml) Demerara syrup, 1:1 ratio 1.0 oz (30 ml) Pineapple juice Add ingredients and crushed ice to shaker tin, whip shake, open pour into glass. Top with additional crushed ice, garnish with fresh mint sprigs.
Absolutely. The only similarity between the two is the agave. But, even then, tequila is made with mass produced Blue Weber Agave ONLY then aged in oak barrels. Real Mezcal is made by roasting the handpicked agave plant. The process makes two completely different liquors
I cannot believe how good this cocktail is! Thank you!

It’s actually at 1:24, but I too appreciate when it’s listed in the description right off the bat.
I've tried this one before when visiting San Diego and it's incredible.
Definitely looks refreshing! Can't wait to try it out
the homie has returned!

A truly great name! Robb, that is…. 👍
I'm gonna try this 50/50 tequila mezcal and replace the absinthe with a spoon of yellow chartreuse.
Now that sounds like a great plan. Copying 🫣
You’re right! More cocktails need to be named after wrestling moves (and vice-versa)
Does it really count as a split base if it's literally 2 types of mezcal? (tequila is a type of mezcal)
