    Hi! This is a video where i can learn something new. It might be a forth one, from you guys, thanks! 💪👼🎅
    Watching this snow and birch piece, i realised i now handle the tech for wetting the paper. Today i did some painting. I have a table for doing aquarells and I had a picture with 3 birds. They were sitting on a wire or a pole, there were small branches around. I'm a bit shy person and tend to leave things undone, but today i decided to be like others... I managed to put a green background behind the leaves.
    It now looks great, like there would be something interesting and the same time artisticly abstract. 🙋‍♀️🎨
    So thank you for your video. Thank you for teaching. 🐕💛🙂

    Watched all 3 parts and learned a lot about technique. Loved your presentations. I could see results as you stayed for changes to occur on paper. Hope mine come out nicely. Just started classes in January and your videos are very intuitive and easy to understand. Love how you talk with camera man and he keeps track of brush size for us students.
    Beautiful end results. From NH where birch tree is state tree! Thank you , thank you!

      It's really hard to see the drawing of the trees. Is there a source to see it better?

    Is there a downloadable sketch for the Winter Birch Scene? I followed the link above and went to your website. There are four sketches there, none of which are this one. I would really love to do this for my husband’s classroom. Thank you! And thanks for your teaching, it’s wonderful!

      My question was 2 years ago when I was an absolute beginner with no drawing experience. I am sure I wouldnt have known what you meant by “use a ruler”.

    I love birch trees! I have watched all three videos and would like to try my hand at this but am concerned about drawing the scene out myself. Should I try and recreate your scene so I can follow or should I do something different?

    • @Rkmcguire
      @Rkmcguire  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Paula, you can go ahead and re-create it but just by changing a couple angles of the trees or change the background just a little bit it could be yours!

    Adding my two cents. Can you post the sketch? That would be very helpful. Love your tutorial and backup from the peanut gallery.

      Keith likes to rotate the painting so he doesn't rest his hand in the wet paint.

    • @catcat2670
      @catcat2670 5 лет назад

      He also doesn’t use extremely wet washes so it isn’t a problem. I’m going to use this technique so I can rotate my paintings easier. Thank you, Keith.
