Republique is a ship I always respected. I've never played French BBs above T7 though. You have any idea if we'll get premiums for free XP at some point? I've 800k saved up by now.
Tirpitz and Prinz Eugen are decent tho. You can definitely have fun with them. But overall, Black Bismarck is just better than Tirpitz, and if you want a smaller hull, go for Odin or Scharnhorst - at T7, it's easier to play because you have more of an speed advantage. Same for the cruisers. Mainz is overall just better, and again, there are amazing ships like Weimar or München at T7.

Neither. If you want a tier 8 KM cruiser or battleship, get the Mainz or Odin
