Nadine was slowly becoming one of my favorites. Her acting felt so real. And then they snatched her away. Her friendship with Lexy felt so wholesome too. So unfortunate that she was taken out. I honestly feel like they should give some storylines time to breathe instead of just axing the people associated with them. Junior seemed like there were so many directions he could go. So much wasted potential. Trevor was built up by how scary Lexy made him seem. But we never got to see him really do anything before Buff Chucky took him out. Nadine was honestly a breath of fresh air. And for a new character, had a lot of chemistry with the cast. Really hoping the therapist sticks around at least. Not because I'm blown away by her performance, but because I want plotlines and characters to be explored for more than a few episodes before they just get tossed aside.
yeah i liked her and wanted more of her. I also liked the very little relationship we got of hulk chucky & the nun & wanted more of that. both being killed off sucked to me but the episode was still fun.
Sad Kyle lost a ear in the explosion from last season and I wasn't surprise Nadine died but how it was executed was a little surprising but this all was to show how smart Chucky is playing being a good guy or he's breaking free of the brainwashing that the kids put on him.
Every single time Fiona is on screen and she gets to portray Chucky, I am completely involved. I just love everything about it. Not to mention...how cool is it as a kid to be able to share this experience with your dad and do it in such an iconic way? Very sad about the death in this episode. I will definitely say this is the weaker season between the two. I'm gonna finish, and I'll watch next season, but its such a drop down from last season. My first thought about Andy was how has he not died from Sepsis so I'm with you, haha.
This show really requires suspoention of disbelief because so many thing just wouldn't work in reality. it's not trying to be 100% serious so I can look past it.
@@ReodorF1 It being a show about possessed dolls doesn't justify a human who's been tortured for a year and had chunks taken out of his leg walking just fine.
This episode and last week's together are probably my favorites of this season. Andy battling Chucky is always a plus (it's this franchise's Lori vs Michael imo). And agreed Cody, Fiona Dourif is indeed awesome.
One of the most frustrating things about the chucky franchise as a whole for me is how Andy gets done dirty every single time. I keep on expecting Andy to turn into a badass character and he continues to get his ass kicked. The whole thing started with him, Andy and Alex Vincent deserve better
Exactly, i was mad when they made him loose that struggle to an 80 year olld woman. I was like wtf, how is that realistic? Also, frustrating how after "good" chucky pushed Nadine out the window, none of thr kids even attempted to kill him, just stood therr
@@bradr5647 He had been tortured and held hostage for about a year. Probably given little to nothing to eat, no exercise, etc. Wtf do you mean it's not realistic?! What you were expecting was unrealistic.
I know...how did he get even bested by that old woman...they need to get Andy to be more than he is right now in this show. Maybe he will be after he recovers because he's spent a year being tortured.
@@supastar25 He was literally bound, tortured, and kept captive for about a year. Wtf do you mean how could he get bested by an old woman?! If you really want to talk about unrealistic, it's the way Andy was able to move around after succumbing all that. He shouldn't even be walking!
This was a really good episode and those last few mins made me sad. Don Mancini truly had some balls killing off such a good character 💔😭. I’m still curious as to wtf the ending is supposed to be. I have a feeling the season might end with all the chucky family staying in the dolls cause Tiffany messed up her life as Jennifer, Glen &Glenda are being hunted for questioning, and chucky prime (a piece of the OG chucky) looks like it wants to go back in the doll. So hopefully the belle doll shows up again since it’s supposed to still have a purpose I think.
I feel especially bad for Jeniffer Tilly. She's been living in a doll body for really 20 years forced to do voice acting work and now her identity is properly 100% ruined. Still surprised it took this long.
Best f**king episode so far! And I'm glad that it turn back to a serious turn, I thought the previous episode was a bit too goofy, this episode was so intense that it felt like a season finale
Last season didnt start revealing the plot until the end of the season either. Its the kind of show that keeps us wondering what is the plan and they reveal it late into the season but when you rewatch the season you can see all those hints and understand the season better.
Buff Chucky got taken out by two different Chucky dolls the last one didn't fought him but I laugh when Nadine threaten the colonel Chucky with a piggy bank lol but I knew Nadine was gonna die the story revolves around Jake, Devon and Lexy only Nadine was a good character to bad she was killed before knowing Lexy was on drugs again.
I think the plot is clear now. Chuckie prime or OG Chucky wants to get out of Nikka and he wanted to kill the kids but that’s gone tits up because each chucky is wanting his own agenda. Now he’s getting the therapist to bring good Chuckie to have Chucky prime take over and get him out of Nikka.
I do question the idea that Andy didn't actually have total jelly legs. I mean, they have to have been giving him at least minimal food and water this whole time, but I'm sure it's safe to say that he's been tied to that table most of the past year.
They didn’t exactly deliver but I loved the idea that Kyle and chucky actually sat down and talked to each other. I could’ve done with some child’s play 2 references
I'm just happy to have new Chucky content. I've always loved the franchise growing up and I'm glad the creator has decided to embrace expanding that world. I do wonder what the future holds though, but honestly, I just want to see him back in his original doll body. Nadines death made me tear a bit, I started to really like her character and wanted to see more of her. Her last moments were her being betrayed and sabotaged - that really hit hard for me. She was trusting and forgiving, so it hurt to see that happen.
The Colonel Chucky was a good example of campy humor that worked for me. I much prefer when the humor stems from being in a doll’s body. I wasn’t expecting Nadine to bite it, so I was genuinely a bit shocked when she did. Her death was brutal too. I appreciate that they went that far with a kid, and the shot of the saint statue cradling her body was both tragic and beautiful. I can usually do without the heavyhanded religious imagery, but I thought her “fallen angel” death was fitting for her. I’m glad that even tho they killed her off, she got a “respectable” death scene, if that makes sense lmfao. It wasn’t an offscreen or bloodless. And Lexy’s reaction broke my heart. I never noticed anyone point it out, but it’s been shown at least once, maybe twice, that Chucky can vomit on command. I’m wondering if that’s what “Good Chucky” was doing to trick them. Violence never actually made him sick. Small detail but definitely something I noticed. They’ve got a lot of explaining to do in these next 2 episodes but I’m not the most optimistic.
The nitpick is fair. People act like some moments are shocking and harsh twists, but that's not true if there's no consequences for anything. They're going full sharknado despite it being what made seed so bad.
One thing I will say in defense of this season is that we really had no idea what chuckys plan and by extension the general plot of season 1 was until junior killed his dad at the end of episode 7 so there is still time for them to bring all the threads together for something really satisfying
7:12 Yeah the 1st season had "Chucky wants one of the teens to kill someone so he can bring more dolls possessed by his soul to life then send them around America to kill so his legacy as a killer would be remembered." And at the start of this season it seemed like he killed Gary and framed Jake, Devon and Lexi for it to get them sent to the Catholic school for a reason but ever since it's just been random nonsensical events happening.
There’s something about Glenda seeing the glen doll and knowing that was once her. And Meg seeing her sister trapped in the Tiffany doll. It’s been a while since I’ve been creeped out from dolls
Yeah. Don Mancini and Brad Dourif have stated that multiple Chuckys developed into their different personalities like Buzzed Chucky, Baby Chucky, Colonel Chucky (a cannibal), Good Chucky and Buff Chucky.
My frustration is with that therapist. Why does she want to help Chucky so much? Does she really want to help him transfer his soul or whatever reason? I don't know...I keep yelling at my TV: what do you want with him lady!? It's like she took Tiffany's place in his life now😂
Some people fail to realize that the "inside the episode" stuff give some insight at times. It explained good guy Chucky further. Don said he had a glitch. This episode SPECIFICALLY make it a little complicated but all the Chucky's ask "Do I know you from somewhere?" In previous encounters with Andy before going batshit on him. It was always going to happen if Andy was around and it did. I can imagine he saw him when Andy attacked Mixter. Sadly it just took the end of the episode for him to be awol.
@@CodyLeachYT That I agree with. But they come in handy if people aren’t realizing the glitching or random rage a Chucky shows is actually not random or just introduced ya know?
@@blizzard-storm97 Some just need to learn how to pay attention just a little more. Not everything needs the inside the episode look. Quite a few others know about the pattern with Andy when a Chucky sees ‘em.
I actually thought the joke was funny with the colonel his personality is basically the guy from Apocalypse now. I think instead of doing a direct Apocalypse now reference at the end they should’ve had Chucky flashing to the truck explosion that could’ve been his Vietnam
My theory about how this season will conclude Father Bryce will die in episode 8, therapist will die at the hands of good chucky then he will revert back to being evil, I think Chucky is going to leave Nicas body and kill her because she can't really defend herself anymore, Glen and Glenda will go back to being a doll, I think Jennifer tilly is going to die, and I think chucky is going to finally have his revenge on Tiffany as well I don't know about a cliff hanger tho and I don't really know what they are gonna do with the 3 teens right now. Also just saying this is what I think will happen or at least some of it will anyway
I appreciate the curse and seed of chucky hybrid tone, it’s pretty well blended. Haven’t quite figured out what I personally don’t like besides this season being a big tease to something coming together. But overall pthis is quite enjoyable more or less than the first season.
Fiona Dourif plays so many characters in the series. She plays Nica Pierce, she plays Nica Pierce possessed by Chucky, she plays young Charles Lee Ray, she plays Nica Pierce pretending to be possessed by Chucky, and she plays Nica Pierce possessed by Chucky pretending to be Nica Pierce. (All actual examples.)
Totally agree with you Cody on your investment being tied to some of the rules in the world that are established and Mancini has respect for none of that really or at least he doesn’t care at all. Makes the show difficult to watch for me honestly, Chucky feels very spoofy. A lot to enjoy still if you completely remove expectations, Chucky is fairly entertaining and all the iterations of him… but it lacks any real substance and overall story. Appreciate all your reviews!
I'm almost done rewatching LOTR original trilogy (extended editions) and JUST REALIZED that Brad Dourif plays Grima! ♡♡ I am a fairly new Chucky fan, only just watched all the films thru for the first time a couple years ago. It's been such a fun experience learning about Chucky, it's quickly become my fav horror franchise. ♡♡
I couldn't help but notice how long haired Andy reminded me of Charles in 1988. Wouldn't it be nuts if Andy was chucky now? I doubt it, but like you said there seems to be no rules so who knows lol
We were robbed for seeing another fight between Andy and Chucky. Colonel Chucky was the most disappointing character that we received. All the texts to him for what? What was the plan? I get that the season is supposed to be short but there’s just too many loose ends that don’t make sense and we are 2 episodes from the finale. The ending shocked me. Deep down I knew the Good Chucky wasn’t good, he was manipulative. But why did he bother revealing himself to Father Bryce and Sister Catherine? Waste of time when Dr. Mixter knew the plan. Maybe Dr. Mixter is actually the big bad of the season, she was Junior’s mom’s therapist too and was the last person she saw before she got killed. So maybe it’s been her plan all along… still don’t know what’s happening with Caroline and the bride doll, but it’s a random subplot that won’t happen until they’re out of the school.. the only good plot to me is the B plot. I am intrigued to find out why chucky wants out of Nica’s body. He was kinda the original form of chucky left from the original, (I still don’t know how they put Chucky back together after Glen chopped him in pieces in Seed but was put back together by the time of Curse) and Nica is the only body that he was able to get into other than Alice. I just want all the characters to submerge and have the plots line up into one. I’m rooting for Tiffany but I’m just biased haha
I think they opened up the seed and curse of chucky pandoras box for a very good reason. I myself didn't like how there were multiple chuckys but I accepted it as canon. However in this episode notice "good chucky" didn't get the urge to kill the girl until the colonel was dead. I think they are saying that for every chucky that exist it takes a certain part of Charles Lee Ray personality with them and when they die that part is restored to the others. This would mean that only by killing off all of the "pieces" of chucky can you get back one body with Charles Lee Ray's full personality again. So I think they delved into this concept of multiple chuckys to wrap it up and return chucky to being just one doll with all the strength and personality from the original films
There was a part where the psychiatrist mentioned Nica was Chucky prime. I always thought Chucky prime was the Chucky with the scars that Andy had in his house that was just a head.
@@CodyLeachYT I think it’s because that piece in Nica is one of the OG pieces of chucky prime which yeah it still isn’t the OG chucky that is the scar faced one but apparently Kyle killed og chucky so that would make the piece in Nica the closest thing to chucky prime.
This season is slow paced and a couple things are still unexplained. Why do the twins have amnesia, and what's up with the belle doll Dr. Mixter gave to Caroline? Is she alive or not? Caroline and Mayor Cross were in the first episode and that's it. And, the season's almost over.
I enjoyed this episode more than the past couple, for sure. I agree with your nitpicks too, I even asked how the hell is Andy walking around on his own?? Glad to see him and Kyle more, and less of goofy Tiffany.
i hated that they killed off Nadine and that was a big mistake and bald and buff chucky were pointless because both were killed off in last nights episode and i thought bald chucky was going to stick around longer and od more damage but nope he was killed in a dumb way thta made him look stupid
I’m glad they killed the clones and we’re back to one Chucky that’s actually interesting. That concept was always stupid although they did a decent job with the silliness of it.
I have several things to say: 1. Regarding the rules...yes. So Buffed Chucky got stabbed in the stomach to the point where his chest was opened (not anymore) yet arsenic killed him. ...and why would The Colonel knew what he was eating? 2. Why would The Colonel eat Andy? Never before was this being a Chucky thing. 3. The one thing that bothered me the most was that the Doctor came in with a Chucky doll that had a necklace of ears and neither the Father or the Nun had an issue with it? Yes, most are doll ears (one has to be Kyle´s) but still. Isn´t the image disturbing enough as to let her go in with him? 4. As for so strict that the Father is in so many ocassions...knowing that Jake and Devon are together he lets them sleep in the same bedroom? Be him a priest or not, nobody that knows that teenagers are a couple would let them sleep in the same bedroom. Heck, just in case people wouldn´t let them anyways. 5. Keep on wasting Andy and Kyle. Come on!!! Look how Cobra Kai handles it. Yes, there´s a ton of new characters (so the series can find a new audience) yet keeps the old ones around. I´m sure neither Alex Vincent nor Christine Elise have anything to do. Give them their chance to shine here. 6. Agreed with Cody. Let there be something to be done with Child´s Play 3. Even Nightmare on Elm Street, while not mentioning Freddy´s Revenge, recognized it by showing footage of it in Freddy´s Dead and Freddy vs Jason.
I can answer 2. The Colonel is an even more deranged version of Chucky, to the point that he decorates his house with the Chuckies that he kills and wears a necklace of ears for fun. Torturing Andy by eating his leg flesh slowly isn’t that much of a stretch.
I feel like it's just sloppy hack writing, to be honest. Just throw it all out there and let the chips fall where they may, as far as telling a season of good TV. It's just...stuff happens, but there's simply very little logic or even much payoff behind it happening, more often than not...none of it really satisfying. Just feels like half-baked story-telling and I'm beginning to feel like Mancini should just stick to the movies. Clearly handling a show like this is too much for him. Most of the teens acting abilities simply don't help matters either. The Jake character has gotten better'ish, but Devon? Not so much...
Totally agree with you about the Andy point you made… no way would he have been able to walk on that leg after being tortured for a year. I wouldn’t consider that a nitpick, that was a valid criticism.
Personally I'm enjoying the season so far honestly I haven't really been that disappointed with anything Chucky related. Child's Play is weirdly a franchise that has a lot of stuff in it for me that really should annoy me because I'm someone who really cares about consistency but this franchise has been very consistent with its inconsistency. How long does it take for Chucky to become human in his doll body that seems to change from plot to plot. In Child's Play one it almost seemed like it took about three or four days. Child's Play 2 it almost seemed like it was only two or three days. In Child's Play one Chucky becoming human enough to believe seemed like it took about 3 days or so but in Child's Play too it seems almost overnight etc. I don't know this just appears to be one of the only franchises for me that I can just Overlook a lot of this stuff because at the end of the day Chucky is the glue that holds this whole franchise together his General attitude and personality is so consistent and enjoyable that I really don't have a problem with anything in this franchise.
I've enjoyed the season and the different element with the buff, colonel, good Chucky etc. but completely agree with the rules and it's really thrown me off since cult and how he's half possessing Nica everything went out the window.
Alot of people are confused about the story this season. I'm like, if you haven't seen the writing on the wall at this point, I don't know what to tell you. Anyways, I've despised Seed since I was 12, 13 years old. The fact that this season has sparked my interest in the characters and where they go is a fkn miracle. A testament to how good this season has been.
Ok I must have the heart of Chucky. Even though I didn’t see the death of Nadine coming, I’m not sad that she’s gone. Bye Nadine. I really liked this episode. I wish Colonel Chucky made it. But I’m all here for Good/Bad Chucky TEAM CHUCKY!
The episode was good but considering how the season has gone so far that isn't saying much. Nadine's death really sucks because I liked her character but as they say people gotta die at some point. I'm happy that andy and Kyle are getting more screen time. Nica is the best character by far, the different chucky dolls reminds me of cult of chucky and I really don't like that because that movie sucks. I will watch the last 2 episodes just to see what happens. Thx for the video cody, really appreciate all your hard work.
Hey Cody I love your videos I’ve been I can for ages I’d love for you to cover the howling franchise as it’s my pick for the most underrated franchise vet and my absolute favourite it’s so fun anyways hope you cover it!🎸🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
Sadly we’re probably never gonna get some Child’s Play 3 love since Don Mancini hated that movie and it’s his personal least favorite film he’s ever done, I just wish Don could appreciate it more😢
Hey Cody just to continue on with your nitpick but I always thought in the Chucky universe that the only sure way to kill him (or any voodoo doll) was to pierce its heart. They get the heads blown up, eat poison and other ways to die and its cool but that was kinda what made me scratch my head at. That's why, to quote the ep "He has a nack at Resurrection" because his heart isn't hurt. I love the show that was really only thing that gets me, but I'm usually one of those people that can say, its a supernaturally possessed doll, you can take it far (within reason).
Being born in 93, I perfer the serious chucky. I had nightmares bout him for years. Tbh I'm not fan of multiple chuckies for this version. For me multiple chuckys would make more sense in the reboot movie version( which is my Fouth favorite)
this season has been pretty mid so far im also confused on what the overall plot is i thought bald chucky was going to pose a bigger threat for the rest of the season not just against the kids but also chucky himself because he was shit talking him and killing off a horde of other chuckys but then they just killed him off in the same episode he was introduced and then they brought back buff chucky for what? i guess just to fool a nun into worshipping chucky idk some moments in this show have me pretty confused there's so much going on at once i feel like right when they introduce a threat or problem into the show it doesn't last long which leaves the overall plot to the season very confusing and unfocused. a lot of whats going on with the characters iv noticed is left to imagination which is okay at times but makes the story move way faster than it needs to be. As much as i like good chucky i do find it kind of dumb how just making him watch horror movies brainwashes him, sounds like a good time to me and probably every other horror fan so i dont know how it makes chucky break so im not surprised he turned and killed nadine. it could of been done in a better manner is all im saying, anyways i still have hope for the last 2 episodes of the season so maybe it will turn around for me this episode was definitely better than the last couple imo.
The season long plot is Chucky Prime seemingly wanting to get out of Nica's body and back into a doll, whilst at the same time revenging on everyone who's pissed him off. There's been the other Chucky's like Buff and the Colonel who had their own plans because all Chucky's are independent and warring with each other now. We know Chucky Prime has been in contact with the Psychiatrist women this whole time, so it was their idea to murder the trio in the first episode and when that didn't work out, get them all incarcerated in this one location so they're easier pickings. It looks like we're in for a journey back to the OG trilogy status quo by the end of this season. The army of Chucky plotline will be over. The one true Chucky will be back in a doll so Nica's plotline will be over. The whole Jennifer Tilly plot looks like it's getting resolved as well as Glen/Glenda possibly going back to their doll too. There's even a Tiffany doll ready for that switch over too. I think this season is largely a giant reset back to the early days with just one singular Chucky Doll, along with Tiffany and Glen/Glenda. I think Jennifer Tilly and Nica will end up written out, possibly some of the other cast as well. I can see the Glen/Glenda doll going off by itself so we're as close to Bride of Chucky era as possible. Seems like they're hitting a massive reset button.
I really love the army of Chucky clones (Buff Chucky, Colonel Chucky, Good Chucky, Baby Chucky and others)! If OG Chucky is back in the doll, many heroes easily will kill one.
I work Wednesday nights so I can't watch till Thursdays. My new routine is to watch the show Thursday night then watch your review. I am loving this season. It is kinda all over the place but it's a beautiful mess. Totally bumped about Nadine.
THIS episode was best so far very dark. It let's you get more into the mind of Chucky.chucky goal to kill the three kids ATM I knew Nadine was gonna die soon I was just counting the episodes and I have a feeling lexy will soon go next I good guy chucky was never brainwashed but playing alone whole time which shows how clever chucky is a fint hint phrases was put in there as well when the lady mentioned to chucky after he died and risen "you sure have many ways of resurrecting yourself" which hints to you chucky cannot die chucky also said this in chucky 2" I cannot die I always come back" he is just a soul not a person or thing so how can he be destroyed? All he have to do is embody anything and he lives.the main chucky soul is in nica she is first chucky notice how as they are bringing nica closer to building the good guy chucky slowly starts showing his true side.remmeber chucky favorite phrase "we are friends to the end" good guy chucky was drawing a doll and a kid with writing friends to the end at top hinting to you he is playing along and tricking them right before killing fly he forgot to vomit which almost blew his cover Killing Nadine on Tower should u this noticed his voice changed more darker and to original chucky voice when He called Nadine over before he pushed her he was original chucky saying how he love watching ppl fall to death he sees Jacob noted how surprised chucky face get and he quickly changes back to good guy chucky faking to care saying I did a bad thing also notice he gave lexy them same pills she addicted to to kill her he is playing it smart to kill them by getting close to them dam good writing and excellent series i lovr it I can see this series is so awesome and full of clues and hints u just need to spot them chucky has a deeper and darker plan and it isn't Andy or the kids nica Said this when she was chucky
Well I felt the session when down hill with the muder mistroy... It was like adding a sub plot that really took away from big parts of the show.. Yet I loved the split souls.. I was disappointed good. Chucky turn evil so fast or that the one chucky killed all the others so fast.. That he didn't have a reson for his victims.. 2 episodes to fix all those kinda plots is hard for anyone.. Still it will be interstate to see chucky vs the Vatican.. But it looks like there going to fully kill both chucky souls in this session.. So Glenda will most likely revive him session 3 if there is one.. I loved your review.. it's my views to..
A lot of this season is just building up and introducing random things without much payoff yet, yes there 2 episodes left, but the only things that have really been happening are the Tiffany and Glen/Glenda storyline, but with only 2 episodes left idk how they are going to wrap everything up, even if it ends on a cliffhanger which I'm sure it will, it still feels like there's so many things with all these Chuckys but nothing going anywhere yet, I could be wrong.
I think it feels strange because Don Mancini has made the Chucky series a bit overcomplicated. I am amazed that he was ever able to make anything good come out of that abomination, Seed, but he seems to have accomplished it.
From my understanding they want to take Chucky prime out of Nica and put him in the remaining Chucky which is the good Chucky. Good Chucky just had a glitch in the matrix
I have to say I'm a huge horror fan, and I know it's just a show about a killer doll but I think it's absolutely horrible!! This season has way to many stories with no explanation and it's all over the place in my opinion. It was so much better when chucky was mean like in the first 3 films, I dont see that anymore. I feel like as horror fans we need to expect more from these movies and shows being made, there just horrible now.
and if we need these hard and fast rules, what about ole nica, four limbs amputated and no hospital or even a nurse? i guess because i get to see a devon and jake that has never existed in the genre i don't need to nitpick.
I’m enjoying this season and I really enjoy your reviews. I would like to see them at some point go back to the og trilogy and make Childs Play 4. I enjoy the chucky stuff for the comedy and the child’s play for the seriousness.
I absolutely loved episode 6. I loved episode 1, 2, 3, and 6 I hate episode 4 and 5 though. I don't care about the Tiffany, Glen and Glenda and stupid bride and seed stories though.
I know this is wishful thinking but i would love to see Tyler & De Silva From Childs Play 3, The Couple From Bride Of Chucky, Detective Norris and Andy’s mom to all be in the 3rd season of the chucky tv show to help Andy and the new generation. I Think That Would Be Really Cool, Bringing all the survivors, that have ever fought against chucky And Have This Crazy Charge against chucky and his Allies, but that’s just me.
I don't know how I feel about the humor in this season... It's being self aware and wacky at times and serious in other times and it doesn't really work for me. It feels like they don't know in which direction and tone they want the franchise to go anymore. Either make it a full on horror comedy that doesn't take itself seriously or make it completely serious or mostly serious with a bit of humor like Bride of Chucky.
U may never see this but I wnated to say I'm a huge fan and I love chucky my gab franchise and I was wondering u have ranked everything but I'd like to see u rank chuckys designs or how he looks keep up the great work
Don't like the wacky stuff. Your spot on with the rules. Part of entertainment to me is seeing how they revolve the story around the rules and not to make up rules throughout the story.
I did really like this episode of Chucky He Is Risen Indeed it was really good the only thing I didn't like was Nadine got kill by Chucky I was hoping she would survive this season cause I really like her character and I was hoping she would be in the third season.

Sad Kyle lost a ear in the explosion from last season and I wasn't surprise Nadine died but how it was executed was a little surprising but this all was to show how smart Chucky is playing being a good guy or he's breaking free of the brainwashing that the kids put on him.

Fiona Dourif is an amazing actress
How tf was Andy walking in this episode? His leg looked like Art the Clown had just been through with him.
Andy is built different
Dolls walks and talks in this show dude
@@ReodorF1 still doesn’t mean it should be devoid of real human logic.
I think Andy is more like Chucky's Doctor Loomis. Kyle is more like Lori.
@@bradr5647 Half of the flesh on his leg is gone. Andy should need physical therapy. It's a miracle that he's about to even stand up.
Watched with my wife. She asked “So what’s the end goal here” and only answer I had “ I actually have no clue "
Love this episode a lot better than the last three for sure I'm glad that they finally brought Andy back into the centerfold
Buff Chucky got taken out by two different Chucky dolls the last one didn't fought him but I laugh when Nadine threaten the colonel Chucky with a piggy bank lol but I knew Nadine was gonna die the story revolves around Jake, Devon and Lexy only Nadine was a good character to bad she was killed before knowing Lexy was on drugs again.
that death at the end really shocked me. Great Review👍👍
I think the plot is clear now. Chuckie prime or OG Chucky wants to get out of Nikka and he wanted to kill the kids but that’s gone tits up because each chucky is wanting his own agenda. Now he’s getting the therapist to bring good Chuckie to have Chucky prime take over and get him out of Nikka.
exactly what i thought! can't wait for the end of the season will be!
Yeah, Chucky is so so egotistical that all these Chuckys can't co exist with you.
He’s reminding me a lot of the Joker this season, where he just does things and then witnesses the fireworks with a cackle.
There’s something about Glenda seeing the glen doll and knowing that was once her. And Meg seeing her sister trapped in the Tiffany doll. It’s been a while since I’ve been creeped out from dolls
I love watching your reviews you actually breakdown the show or movie really well and give good reasoning to your opinions keep up the good work💯
Well we know now Chucky is also a cannibal as we see he was cutting pieces of skin off Andy's leg and eating it.
Is that even cannibalism since he’s in the doll?
Couldn't that have just been the one Chucky doing that?
@@blizzard-storm97 yeah i think it was just that bald chucky
Yeah. Don Mancini and Brad Dourif have stated that multiple Chuckys developed into their different personalities like Buzzed Chucky, Baby Chucky, Colonel Chucky (a cannibal), Good Chucky and Buff Chucky.
@@thatfishguy4991 Still a human soul in the doll. lol
Ive been watching your channel so much this month, its crazy. Nothing but good content !
You shouldn't have to watch behind the scenes commentary to fully understand or grasp the story being told.
@@CodyLeachYT That I agree with. But they come in handy if people aren’t realizing the glitching or random rage a Chucky shows is actually not random or just introduced ya know?
@@HorrorParadise yeah some people think he's faking it, but I even figured bad Chucky just came back out momentarily
@@CodyLeachYT couldn't agree more.
0:40
Well giving that Chucky is possessed by the soul of a human and therefore becoming human(according to the lore) yeah I would call it cannibalism
My theory about how this season will conclude
Father Bryce will die in episode 8, therapist will die at the hands of good chucky then he will revert back to being evil, I think Chucky is going to leave Nicas body and kill her because she can't really defend herself anymore, Glen and Glenda will go back to being a doll, I think Jennifer tilly is going to die, and I think chucky is going to finally have his revenge on Tiffany as well I don't know about a cliff hanger tho and I don't really know what they are gonna do with the 3 teens right now. Also just saying this is what I think will happen or at least some of it will anyway
I really think this whole franchise should’ve ended with the remake.
I appreciate the curse and seed of chucky hybrid tone, it’s pretty well blended. Haven’t quite figured out what I personally don’t like besides this season being a big tease to something coming together. But overall pthis is quite enjoyable more or less than the first season.
I was wondering about Andy’s leg too. I don’t think that was a nitpick. But as you said, it didn’t derail the episode for me.
Bro I was super crushed when Nadine died man 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Totally agree with you Cody on your investment being tied to some of the rules in the world that are established and Mancini has respect for none of that really or at least he doesn’t care at all.
The girl been throwing off balcony got me lol didn't expect it
We were robbed for seeing another fight between Andy and Chucky.
I always thought Chucky prime was the Chucky with the scars that Andy had in his house that was just a head.
same
He was. Calling Nica "Chucky Prime" doesn't make sense to me.
@@CodyLeachYT I think it’s because that piece in Nica is one of the OG pieces of chucky prime which yeah it still isn’t the OG chucky that is the scar faced one but apparently Kyle killed og chucky so that would make the piece in Nica the closest thing to chucky prime.
We havent seen scarred chucky in a while though. Its possible kyle killed him at the end of cult.
@@jakoshi2763 they probably also killed the messy haired, one armed chucky too
This season is slow paced and a couple things are still unexplained. Why do the twins have amnesia, and what's up with the belle doll Dr. Mixter gave to Caroline? Is she alive or not? Caroline and Mayor Cross were in the first episode and that's it. And, the season's almost over.
Maybe we will find out in the next two episodes.
@@GetToDaChoppa-k5r I hope.
Awwwwww 😢 I liked Nadine
Nadine 😭
What if "good" chucky is the leader?
I enjoyed this episode more than the past couple, for sure. I agree with your nitpicks too, I even asked how the hell is Andy walking around on his own?? Glad to see him and Kyle more, and less of goofy Tiffany.
I'm loving it
i hated that they killed off Nadine and that was a big mistake and bald and buff chucky were pointless because both were killed off in last nights episode and i thought bald chucky was going to stick around longer and od more damage but nope he was killed in a dumb way thta made him look stupid
I’m glad they killed the clones and we’re back to one Chucky that’s actually interesting. That concept was always stupid although they did a decent job with the silliness of it.
And I cried when Nadine died
I think the plan for this season is just to get chucky out of micas body but I feel like there going to axe a few mains off
4:15 Fiona plays a cult leader in the Purge show.
Keep the good work I'd love to see u rank the chucky designs
I have several things to say:
The whole dynamic with the sister and buff chucky really disturbed me. And poor Nadine!!!😢
Your reviews are better than the show this season.
Nadine got the Eddie treatment from Stranger Things. Were a show adds a new character we like and then kill them off
Good episode
I love the shirt. That movie doesn't get enough love.
I wish Nadine would have secretly be Glenda
Fiona is very talented
I'm liking season 2 much more than season 1.
I hate rules in real life but I agree with you the plotline doesn't seem clear it's kinda all over the place for the time being
If Nica, Kyle and Glenda goes to Lord Incarnate, maybe the priest and the sisters there will exorcise Chucky out of Nica's body ?
Really good episode tonight
I hadn't thought of this until now but could it be possible for Good Chucky to take over Nadine's body or is it impossible now that she's dead?
All he have to do is embody anything and he lives.the main chucky soul is in nica she is first chucky notice how as they are bringing nica closer to building the good guy chucky slowly starts showing his true side.remmeber chucky favorite phrase "we are friends to the end" good guy chucky was drawing a doll and a kid with writing friends to the end at top hinting to you he is playing along and tricking them right before killing fly he forgot to vomit which almost blew his cover
Killing Nadine on Tower should u this noticed his voice changed more darker and to original chucky voice when
He called Nadine over before he pushed her he was original chucky saying how he love watching ppl fall to death he sees Jacob noted how surprised chucky face get and he quickly changes back to good guy chucky faking to care saying I did a bad thing also notice he gave lexy them same pills she addicted to to kill her he is playing it smart to kill them by getting close to them dam good writing and excellent series i lovr it I can see this series is so awesome and full of clues and hints u just need to spot them chucky has a deeper and darker plan and it isn't Andy or the kids nica Said this when she was chucky
I feel like as horror fans we need to expect more from these movies and shows being made, there just horrible now.
and if we need these hard and fast rules, what about ole nica, four limbs amputated and no hospital or even a nurse? i guess because i get to see a devon and jake that has never existed in the genre i don't need to nitpick.
she has fallen indeed
I’m enjoying this season and I really enjoy your reviews. I would like to see them at some point go back to the og trilogy and make Childs Play 4. I enjoy the chucky stuff for the comedy and the child’s play for the seriousness.
I know this is off topic lol but I had to ask you have you seen The sadness ? It’s on shudder omg awesome zombie film made in Taiwan
I knew Good Chucky was just messing with the kids and pretending to be good.
He wasn't. Mancini said it was a glitch
@@blizzard-storm97 Yeah, right. It was a glitch because of Andy.
I think the first hint that good chucky wasn't so good was when he gave Lexy the pills.
I did really like this episode of Chucky He Is Risen Indeed it was really good the only thing I didn't like was Nadine got kill by Chucky I was hoping she would survive this season cause I really like her character and I was hoping she would be in the third season.
How the hell is Andy walking when his damn leg has been named off 😅😅
