Video series idea: A series called Geometry Class where you show us the best bounce locations for storm arrow on every map. Don't put every map in one video, but instead, do one map per video. Bounce locations that attack key points of the objective and so on. I think a lot of hanzo players would take great interest in this series if done correctly.

@@laranjanegociadora9877 yeah but it's kinda weird that an archer is a tank buster. Even more so that tanks already had it rough and they just turned a dps from a support killer into a tank buster. A character can be good but not feel as good to play anymore and I think that's what people are talking about with Hanzo. And Junkrat but unlike Hanzo poor Junkrat got absolutely trashed this season for no reason. Rip Junkrat mains.

That 5.10-5.20 laugh got me. 😂😂 Still fear hanzo of a old feeling, but he deserves a buff to make him more equal or how he used to be. Feared widow was going to be how hanzo is now in season 9 when 25hp buff was the only changes that was written at one point, but she feels even better than season 8. Way too large hitboxes to shoot at in season 9 tho..
Think hanzo players must adapt to be the "last shot" on damaged players that your team is shooting at, until he gets his deserved buff..
And hopefully the hanzo changes comes soon. 😊

As a tank main, i have no sympathy for hanzo players. Being able to 100 to 0 a tank in 3s is not ok
After watching this video I've finally decided to subscribe! (to Kenzo, of course). And no, I'm not a Kenzo fan, I haven't watched any of his videos, but this video sold it for me. All of his insane shots require real time hitscan aim, which is why it's much more fair that they one shot. Hanzo in season 9 require almost none (that does not mean that Arrge has bad aim, it just means that each shot hit by Hanzo is not really impressive generally). Before season 9 Hanzo's projectile was as huge as logs, which was already unfair, but now it's more like he is shooting oil train cars from his bow lol. Good thing they nerfed him, Overwatch now is a better place. Now all we have to do is delete sombra from the game.
I don’t think you understand the difficulty added when you’re shooting a projectile that doesn’t hit what your looking at the moment you shoot it. The reason the arrow is bigger is because you have the added difficulty of needing to predict where the opponent will be and the time taken based on the distance the target is. You don’t have to calculate any of that with hitscan characters which is why their bullets are reasonably smaller. Theoretically if you knew when Hanzo was going to shoot you could dodge 100% of his arrows due to travel time. You can’t do that with hitscan characters. At the end of the day hitscan characters quite literally have it easier hitting shots, which is why projectiles have increased sizes to compensate.
I understand that projectiles don't hit immediately, and there is a possibility to dodge them. However what you said can easily be applied to, Pharah, for example. Hanzo arrow projectile speed is very high, even pre S9 it was hard to dodge just by strafing. I was able to reliably dodge hanzo arrow only using movement ability, such as cassidy roll or hanzo's jump. After season 9 with insane arrow hit box and arrow speed, it's almost impossible to dodge his arrow after he fired it at you without any additional movement skills. That also depends a lot on a distance from where hanzo shoots, but there are rarely a place on a map where hanzo will shoot from far away. Imagine for example Oasis university. With any possible shooting scenario on such map, hanzo will always be mid-range, or even a bit closer. On such distances, with his projectile speed & size, hitting arrows is very easy. Maybe on Havana start, or on Kings row when shooting from spawn, the distance will allow you to dodge his arrows, but 80% it's not the case
@@philipputkin8236 you’re just objectively wrong. Hanzo is notorious for being easy to dodge when strafing. That’s why all the advice for Hanzo is to flank and shoot unsuspecting target because if they know you’re aiming at them it’s easy to just strafe and be near impossible to hit. Chances are you like to strafe left & right so fast that the actual distance you move is near zero since overwatch’s engine uses instant acceleration for movement, but just using basic physics you can easily prove that a projectile is harder to hit a target moving side to side versus an instant bullet 💀 so your whole argument kinda falls apart. Just watch ANY Hanzo guide video and you’ll see the exact same thing. Pharah is another case since 9 times out of 10 her missile isn’t gonna land on anyone (unless you’re a slow moving tank) & it’s the added splash damage that actually hits you. But yes, if you stand still or button mash strafe so fast that you’re not actually moving, then it will still be easy to hit you with a projectile (just as easy as a hitscan). If the Hanzo is right in your face then I agree the speed is fast enough to where you can’t really dodge it unless you’re golden with movement abilities, however even at midrange a sudden change in direction right as Hanzo fires his arrow will cause it to miss you. That’s why Hanzo players have to “aim where you’re going not where you are”

Hanzo can maybe be competitive still but… He isn’t there and even if he gets there the character is fundamentally changed into something that is no longer worth playing for those who liked the flank/high precision playstyle. Spamzo is now the only option…

Technically yes there is still a point. Widow only have 200hp, and Hanzo can do up to 240hp without a pocket
@@Ravitas3 Yet she hits headshots way easier. 1vs1 against widow got significantly harder. I was only GM4 in S8 before the changes, I don't know how it behaves in higher GM or Top500 though. For me at least fighting against a widow as hanzo isnt as fun anymore. In S8 you could literally play with the widow with crouch spamming and strafing. Now the crouchspamming doesn't work anymore.
