I worked in dentistry for 30 years. Never done a root canal on the wrong tooth. I’ve had a doctor numb the wrong side before. But that’s as far as it got. When it comes to lawsuits in dentistry, you really don’t get any money. The most money you get is money back to restore the tooth. Because there’s really no pain and suffering involved.
I love that Jonny just pulls out the most random life stories, sometimes. Like the one with the root canal?? terrifying.

I make those cinnamon rolls all the time but instead of regular cream I use ceamer! For Christmas I made the hot chocolate ones and instead of cinnamon on top I added inhot chocolate mix . It was somgood
My husband is a dentist and I know he’ll be horrified when I tell him your story. That’s a huge mistake to make. Hope you found a new dentist after that.

@IWantToRideMyBikebut once you drill into a tooth, it weakens it. A healthy untouched tooth is better in the long run. Now he has two teeth that may need work down the road. Husband this is 100% a lawsuit and a huge mistake.
Had a dentist pull the wrong tooth for me once. I didn't realize until a few hours later when I wasn't numb anymore. I was horrified 😅
Medical mishaps like that happen way more than I thought. There's a whole protocol surgeons have to follow because of a history of operating on the wrong body part.
My dentist legit had to x way before doing anything like that so mistakes like that don't happen 🥲

@rileyyb1043my understanding is that in a case-control study, you have a control group, and you have a test group, and both those make the ‘variable’ of say, intervention, for example. Control and test are levels or groups of a variable. If you have a study where you’re looking at the effects of substances on behaviour, your independent variable is ‘substance’ with the levels like alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, control, and your dependent variable is behaviour (however you operationalise that).
If you have several independent variables in a study they might be something like education (levels are high school, apprenticeship, university), gender identity (levels are woman, man, non-binary), and age (continuous variable from 0-whatever age)
@zbrownie1672 You might be thinking dependent and independent variable? Independent is the one you change directly and dependent is the effect of that. So, if I'm experimenting to see if a new fertilizer makes my plants grow taller, the one I do not feed is the control. The one I do is the variable; within that, whether (or how much) fertilizer I added is the independent variable, and the height they grow to is the dependent variable (it _depended_ on whether the plants were fed).

Canned cinnamon rolls with orange icing is one of my very favorite desserts. I made homemade cinnamon rolls recently and was disappointed with them because they weren’t as good.
don't usually comment on videos, but the Shrek made me think about when I was doing cake decorating for an Actual Paycheck (god I miss it) and on two separate occasions had an order for Shrek floating in a puddle of mud facedown. I have sculpted two (2) Shrek asses and got paid the entire time

If you mix the watermelon juice with Milkis (Korean milk soda), or Yakult (Japanese fermented milk drink) and sprite, you’ll get hwachae which is like Korean summer punch (they usually put other fruit in it to, and sometimes jellies). It’s sooo good and so refreshing. The milk and the fizziness town down the sweetness of the watermelon.
That sounds so good, I’ll have to try that!

9:10 Sometimes when I buy grapes they're pretty sour and just not good. In order to not waste them I dip them in lemon juice then immediately roll them in koolaid. I get the cheap packets, mix in some sugar, then coat the grapes. Works great and tastes great! They're especially good if you freeze them after and eat them frozen.

You should try rolling them in jello powder and freezing them. That's what my family does sometimes

I cut up watermelon and put it in the blender. It also freezes well to blend. watermelon/strawberry is awesome.
