Wow, what a great project! It turned out so well. I love the color you used to paint it, and the handle coverings actually look so much softer that the original, not only in color but in texture as well. You did a fantastic job!
I'm not always a fan of dupes (short reason which I can expand on if you want me to: because I don't want anyone to devalue art and crafts, whether their own abilities or those of others) but "I meant to get it but I didn't and it's now out of stock" is the absolutely most relatable reason =)
This turned out fantastic! Love the color, too. I think yours looks more handmade crafted vs the store original. The original handles are wrapped in jude. Need to get me more clay for this one lol. Thanks for another great modern project 😊❤
The glaze is like the resin right? And shall i leave it sundry after putting the glaze? Cause some i saw some they would use like a UV lamp the one similar in nail salon.
The sealer I use is just like a clear coat of whichever finish I want it in. It usually dries by itself within a few minutes. You could use a resin based sealer and that would require a UV light.
I usually mix a bunch of colors together until I get the shade that I want. But I use acrylic paint from either Joann’s or Michaels and I use all the different brands they carry :)
@@IvettDIY this is very helpful thank you! I had no idea you could just use regular acrylic paint and was thinking of glaze paints here but since there's no heat, then that makes sense!
Love the basket by the way. I’m binging all your vids lol
A tool I've found useful for making strips is like, those pasta roller/cutters which can also be useful for polymer clay.
That’s actually such a great idea!

What brand of slip do you use
I make the slip out of whichever clay I’m using on a project 😊
