Thank you for your comment. I actually use that video whenever I need to descale my kettle which I did just the other day. I'm really glad it helped! Best, Bob
Hi Bkopps, I use this kettle twice a day or more depending on who is visiting. I absolutely love it! I do pour over coffee and it works excellent for us. I'm glad the video helped you out. Best, Bob
Great video! What are those blue towels you wiped the inside with? Are they lint free? I don't want to use paper towels on the inside. And how do you clean the gooseneck spout, or do you need to?
Hi, Thanks so much for watching the video. I use shop towels which, to the best of my knowledge, are lint-free. I use shop towels for everything as they are very heavy duty. These are the ones I use - rb.gy/u3j467 and that is not an affiliate link. I have never cleaned the gooseneck spout but if you want to you could use those small straw cleaner brushes. I think the deposits are on the bottom of the kettle exclusively is because this is where the water sits and could be in there for days unless you clean out the water regularly (which I don't). I cannot imagine any deposits are inside the gooseneck spout due to the fact that water doesn't sit there, just runs through it. But, if you are concerned you can get one of those straw cleaner brushes. My daughter actually uses those to clean out her metal straw. Thanks so much for your question. Best, Bob
Hi Ryan, this is straight from Amazon: Brand COSORI Capacity 0.8 Liters 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐥 Color Matte Black Special Feature Manual It certainly appears to be stainless steel just due to the weight and durability of the kettle. Best, Bob

These may be aluminum and not stainless steel unfortunately
