Thanks to PIF team, Amanda, the Reubens, you guys made alot of people happy today! I agree growing the team at a good pace is more important, getting people that want to play for this team, big signings look good but for this club u need players that understand what they playing for, the supporters, the club and people. I'm not even that old but 30 years goes by quickly, since I watch my 1st game and on TV from South Africa, I don't even live in England..but all we need is a team that tries and puts everything into every game. AND I think by we what we mean is the whole Newcastle team, from owners, to manager, to admim, to scouts, just to appreciate the tears, screams, joy alot of us have gone through over the years.
You don't deserve what you haven't earned. Let's just calm down. I''m a Liverpool supporter, but have a healthy respect for Newcastle United and its history. But please, lets not start talking about what you deserve. If you know anything about the Prem, its that nothing is deserved, only earned.
She meant the club and us supporters and I will say unlike Liverpool and Arsenal to an extent and others where the owners aren't right for the clubs but they have really good or dece t plahing squads we have had direly awful players/squads and been run badly so as a long suffering supporter of many I will say yes we do deserve some success will we get it? That remains to be seen.
Exactly what I'm saying, yes they have more history than man city & Chelsea, but tell me why do they "deserve" it, you guys were kind of cap for the last decade, arsenal are now (okay neither quite as bad), whu & villa also got relegated in the last decade, yes they've all had investment, well except arsenal, they've had the opposite (owners take out, haha), but nothing to this extent, why didn't they get a massive helping hand? B/s, it's just become a duck swinging contest of wise pockets are bigger
What have the likes of Man City and Chelsea 'earned'? Really 'earning' something means putting in hard graft over a sustained period of time in order to make steady upward progress, and not just clicking your fingers and going from nought to one hundred miles an hour in the blink of an eye. Any success that now comes Newcastle's way will certainly not have been 'earned', and as such it will be as hollow as a Poundland Easter egg, but more tasteless.
Trophies doesnt just make u the best club in the world its passion fans etc they are one of the best clubs in the world in terms.of that and there brand will only get bigger they now have 340 billion richest club in world football double of what city's owner owns infact triple, Newcastle will get back to CL in no time like they did back In the Robson Keegan days its nice to see a great club like Newcastle united getting took over after what ashley did to them there fans fully deserve it.
"Newcastle United deserves to be top of the Premier League and we will get there" Admire the ambition. Realistically Newcastle are going to be backed into a corner now where they over pay for players that will want ridiculous wages to come and play in the North of England.
Don't think it will be ridiculous wages, Newcastle gets about half the yearly rainfall of Manchester or Liverpool. Much nicer city is well with both friendlier and more passionate fans. Not a Newcastle fan by the way, just facts
No one mentioning the fact the premier league must have been bang to rights in the courtcase they bottled it quick time definitely didnt want anything going public
Exactly. They obviously knew after the hearing last week that they'd fail to get the anti-competition case thrown out, and their corruption would get exposed. That's why the takeover's gone from dead to complete in 24 hours.
Just appointing Conte will mean business. He will win EPL in 3-4 years. Other European clubs screwed holding on to world class players as money tap is going to flow
Well man city bought massive players who were them b4 they got bought lol average team at best, Newcastle was challenging for CL in early 2000s city would finish 13th most seasons Newcastle has way better fans and passion aswell than city there a one club city good in the toon army they will be a force in many years to come
Thank you for all the support around the year's. The support will be even stronger now as we going into relegation zone. I am fan since 1997 and this is a dream come true. I don't care about names of the players I even love most of our players right now I just want us to go on the winning track. Fans from top 6 clubs in England can't imagine what is to be a fan of a 'small' club. And I get them they are entry now we will disturb there top 6 league, but this is every Newcastle fan dream come true! Toon army is coming!
I wonder which players they'll buy now because all the great players have very solid contract with their respective clubs. And there is a certain lack of good players these times or others are dropping form. By the way i wish them good luck in this new era.
When Fosun took over Wolves this is exactly what they said. That we will be challenging for a place in Europe within 10 years. The first obstacle was getting into the Premier League. They did that under Nuno's first season, the second season they qualified for the Europa League. Then they fell foul to Financial Fair Play rules under the Premier League and FIFA. That placed a huge obstacle towards their ambitions. Will be interesting to see how the PIF tackles such problems. You can't win trophies If you are not allowed to spend your Billions.
I’m guessing some mega bucks sponsorship deals will take care of that. Similar to what Man City pulled. And people can bleat on about FFP all they want, I think we’ve seen enough evidence from other clubs to suggest it’s a load of bollocks and that ultimately, money talks.
Must be exciting to be a Newcastle fan right now knowing these guys are gonna build there club up and restructure it from the youth facilities, training ground and bring in some quality players over time. Financial fair play is tough to get around, city found a way but that’s no there anymore now.

I agree
They will eventually get there, it's sad but the most important thing now is who owns your club, never mind if your owner are murders or thieves.
She lost me at “Newcastle United is the best club in the world” 🤥
Won't be long 😉
Trophies doesnt just make u the best club in the world its passion fans etc they are one of the best clubs in the world in terms.of that and there brand will only get bigger they now have 340 billion richest club in world football double of what city's owner owns infact triple, Newcastle will get back to CL in no time like they did back In the Robson Keegan days its nice to see a great club like Newcastle united getting took over after what ashley did to them there fans fully deserve it.
