  • What are some of the questions particle physicists seek to answer? Who are the people involved, and how did they get there? How do we communicate this science? Join us at the Boston Public Library to learn more about particle physics and why it matters.
Our speakers are: Katrina Miller, PhD - a Chicago-based science reporter & (sometimes) essayist who has written for, among others, the New York Times and Wired magazine (katrinamillerp...); Sarah Demers - Professor of Physics at Yale University and a frequent science communicator (physics.yale.e... and Matthew Strassler - a theoretical physicist and writer (profmattstrass...).
This event is organized in relation to the 12th Edition of the Large Hadron Collider Physics Conference, which is hosted by Northeastern University in Boston in June 2024. It is intended for a general audience - no prior physics knowledge is needed.
