    Not sure what loud means for those tires. I've driven them on the 1500 and 2500HD ZR2 and I think they are some of the quietest large off roads tires I've driven on. I run primarily Toyos and think they are quiet for big tires too. I do think they get louder on the back end of the tire life. I usually sell my tires at 30-35k and start over with new.

    Good to see that GM/AEV made the passenger rear bumpers crooked on the on the GMC too. Some of them are really bad, that one isn't as bad. I fixed mine, but shouldn't have to for +$9k on a $93k truck.

    I settled for the normal loaded at4 HD. Put a level, 35s and some fuel rims and looks almost as good as this truck but at4x is a tad bit sexier with the stock lift 😅

  • @rsbreeze

    37s for fine in the wheel well. The problem is there is barely enough clearance between the UCAs when steering is centered or at full lock. Especially if you run a tire with heavy shoulder lugs like a Toyo MT. It wouod work if you don't drive off road.

    Those CV and tie rod angles don’t look flat. They look angled like on a level which isn’t ideal. AEV will offer the bumpers aftermarket just like RAM but not until late summer/early fall. I have a Silverado 3500 SRW (4k payload) so even with the aftermarket AEV bumpers, 37s and 4 inch Cognito lift my payload numbers are still good and my truck costs far less than $100k.

    • @rsbreeze
      @rsbreeze 4 месяца назад +1

      Except you'll pay $6k for those bumpers.
      CV angles aren't a problem, it's a 1.5 inch lift over stock not 4+.

    • @jayb7675
      @jayb7675 4 месяца назад

      @@rsbreezeevery aftermarket bumper is close to $3k for the front and $1500 for the rear. Doesn’t matter the brand. AEV is a little higher than the others but not much. That’s just what replacement bumpers cost. And while the level is only 1.5 inches, the truck still does not have flat angles like a factory truck. It will ride a little rougher and the suspension components will be under more stress than a stock truck.

    • @rsbreeze
      @rsbreeze 3 месяца назад +1

      @jayb7675 bumpers will be more expensive than if you bought the package. I estimate $3500 +/- front and $2500 +/-. I have one and there is a lot metal in the braces and bumpers, lots of machine work, lots of welding, lots of fasteners, lots of plastic trim bits. Nothing points towards cheap. ADD has them for the 1500 ZR2 and they aren't inexpensive, but they look better.
      I've driven hundreds of thousands of miles on vehicles without "flat" CV angles. Never had a driveline issue, never will on this rig.

    • @jayb7675
      @jayb7675 3 месяца назад

      @@rsbreezeif you buy them from GM. But AEV will offer them on their website this year. The price should be similar to the RAM bumpers.

      It took about 9 years to go from $65-95k. So I'd say about 16.5 years. Since your vote won't be counted anymore, the Dems will cut that to 8.25 years.
