Nausea recorded this album with help from Agnostic Front and Nuclear Assault who loaned the band musical equipment and rehearsal space. Guitar player Vic went on to play with Chaos UK after Nausea disbanded.
@@stockfeeder666 I never saw them with Neil and Amy only Al and Amy. I liked the material they recorded with both Neil and Al, I think this album sounds more urgent with Al however. Their NYC shows were phenomenal to say the least!
@@ShiningSta18486 What's it like? I heard lots of the old school peeps have left and there's a lot of Antifa. I also heard Antifa has turned on stza. Can you confirm any of that? Much love.
This album is mind blowing. It's been one of my favorite albums for over 20 years now. I was fortunate enough to see Nausea perform at a club called Revival in Philadelphia way back in 1990. They fucking killed it live. This album definitely stands the test of time.
Thats fucking sick. Wish I coulda saw them. Hey can you clear something up for me? Can you tell me what the deal is with the 2 Nausea's? One from LA and one from NY....But Amy's Facebook page was merged with the LA Nausea page. I'm confused!
suicidebag666 I'll be honest with you, I don't know too much about that. I have been aware of LA's Nausea for a long time. I know that they are more of a grindcore/metal band, but I have no idea why Amy would merge her page with theirs. Interesting. Perhaps it's some kind of legal issue over the band name. Your guess would be as good as mine. If you find out, let me know. I would be curious to hear about it.
This album is in my top 10 punk records of all time. And top10 regrets of all time not seeing Nausea, i seen thousands of great bands starting in 81 to present. During the years, Nausea was together i was in jail, or fucked on dope. Then quickly out of rehab and becoming a father, becoming hard to see bands, top 10 regrets not Seeing This timeless Amazing Band,
Just absolutely love the speed, raw feel yet incredibly disciplined backbeat throughout this album. They way they just jump between crust, thrash, reggae and even post punk in bits. The song writing, lyrics and structure too is absolutely 100% on point. No point in this album feels repetitive. I would love to know if any of the people who played on this album ever revisit it with whatever bands they are in now.
This is one of the greatest punk rockbands ever! I saw them at Gilman Street project in and an they killed it. Also playing that night was Neurosis, Econochrist, Filth ,Asbestos Death & Glycinemax qualifying it as the best show ever
I have much love for this album, the amount of times me and my brother listened to this album and got stoned and talked about the state of the world. Still takes me back to the edge of that bed where I was couch locked in aw of the amazing music. 🤙👌
Me and my brother's first vinyl record and the beginning of 20 years of what I'm sure is the best life I could have lived. This music and other bands like aus rotten, doom open you're mind to another lifestyle, a lifestyle where you think how you want even if it's arguably conformist to some degree.
Gran disco aún lo conservó, junto con Doom, e.n.t. misery, electro hippies, napalm death, fear of god, agathocles, son la música de mi adolescencia. Después todo se volvió una competencia por quién era más auténtico o más rápido aún así la música prevalece.
For some reason my friends hate this fucking album. It's definitely my fault as I listened to this thing on repeat for like 3 years. I'd apologize but there is no apology for good music.
One best bands ever. Don't understand how people are saying they ripping off/trying to be like a band that probably got together AFTER nausea split. Got it totally backwards! !
since i listen this band like 5 years ago i always wanted to listen this band in live. DOOM went in my city and it was brutal! but i always will dream with listen this band in live!

Why did they get rid of the part with Charles Manson talking between Tech-No-Logic -Kill and Inherit the Wasteland? That fit in great, but missing from every youtube upload. Was that only on the 1st pressing or something
man I loved HxC and crust stuff but like the production on this is like a metal album, I was freaked out wayy back when I first put this on years ago lol I still am now. It like almost doesn't fit lol I want grainy mostly bass sound. I would have this and Disrupt in my pocket or pack at all times my poor friends were into Blind Melon n shit lmao just awful times in life

Sounds almost like crossover with black metal elements
That’s just crust.
Also reminds me of Carnivore and even early " slow, deep and hard " Type O Negative .
black metal was influenced by crust punk. Bathory, Celtic Frost, and Darkthrone all cite it
1st time listening. Quite impressed .reminds me of Batalion of saints meets Rudimentary peni and Varukers 👍
Sacrifice is a masterpiece.

Nausea is a great band with intelligent music and lyrics too bad there is not more bands with meaning and something to really say
