It was crunchy for the most part. They had to regroom the top half of the mountain due to ice. They have had spring-like highs leading up to that day but their overnight lows have allowed them to make snow is my guess.
Yup! I went on Stratton's "Spruce" trail, which they have labeled as a double black, and I was like... damn... that was like most of the blue trails at Killington and Stowe!
By the way, how was the snow at Sugarbush when you just went? I'm guessing everywhere is a little slushy now after yesterday's rain, but was there still a decent cover on most trails?
@@ThirdEyePerspective1111 The snow was perfect in most runs on my visit Mar 30th. A few beginners had some crust underneath the layer of fresh snow but the resort had good base layer. I had moguls that were like waist high (◇◇Paradise)....didn't feel like spring at all.
Great video. Thanks for sharing novice trails - finally. Clear and not shaking also I can actually see the trails. ❤ great job.
might be hitting this same route soon
It doesn’t look spring condition, is it much colder there?

Wow blue is like a hill compared to this
Right! Came back from Sugarbush and it was even bigger IMO.
