hi Davud! I have been following your content for quite some time now and have to admire the effort you make to connect with the local populace . I am from Kolkata ,India with ancestral roots at Barishal, Bangladesh.Cheers! ❤️
Surprise is always unexpected. How random is it possible to meet an Azerbaijan visiting Bangladesh and a Bangladeshi who visited Azerbaijan in a city( Cox's Bazar) far away from Dhaka city. Randomness vs Predestined ?
Wow I thought cox bazaar is sea beach! We have heard so much about coz bazar sea beach in Sri Lanka...pls visit the sea beach davud...love from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
U r such big hearted human , thank u for making this elderly persons day. Meat & fish is expensive & it will be a Holiday at his house today ! I m getting excited just by thinking about how happy his kids will be after seeing all the stuff u get for them! Thank u again, I pray Allah(stw) gives u a long healthy peaceful life, Ameen .❤
Hi Davud, I am watching your videos are super nice. I admire your habit of helping needy people. I am from Srilanka . Please come once more to my country. I am anxious to meet you.
Hi Davud, May I Introduce you to some local cuisine. The one you first had is not biryani. We call it "Tehari". Tehari is simpler than biryani, often cooked with beef, and less pricey than biriyani. People here prefer two types of biriyani, either chicken biriyani or mutton biriyani. If you keep digging, you can find places that have mutton biriyani. It's common to find biriyani everywhere, perhaps not so typical in the areas where you have been looking. Another tip for you, if you're looking for a restaurant to have a meal, then ask the people "bhat er hotel" or "biriyani hotel". They will point you in the right direction. Common people here refer to restaurants as hotels here.
At 06:38 when you give salaams to the guy eating - he didn't return salaams but just nodded. It's something bizarre engrained in Bengali culture, for some reason the elder generation think you can''t return salaams while eating. My parents now understand it's fine but still many who think you're not meant to give greetings while eating.
Thank you brother. From your work and passion iam seeing the world and other countries people what do, how they behave and how they live. Also I'm Making My English Better.👍
Davud, I am your subscriber. I am regularly watching your blog.I am happy you are exploring our country.I hope you will visit and explore Chittagong hill area Because its area is most of the beautiful area of Bangladesh.Love from Rangamati.
It’s Cox’s Bazar not Cox Bazar!! The modern Cox's Bazar derives its name from Captain Hiram Cox, an officer of the British East India Company, a Superintendent of Palongkee outpost. To commemorate his role in refugee rehabilitation work, a market was established and named after him.
My husband and I found your channel recently and we binge watched all your videos and every morning we wake up and check for new uploads, also would be great if you went to Sylhet in Bangladesh, it’s cleaner there. My husband is a British Bengali and he says sylhet was mainly built up by British Bengalis so it’s got a different feeling there. Stay blessed, love from 🇬🇧
Wow Davud, how cool for you to meet a local guy who's been to Azerbaijian & spent a whole month there. Its always exciting when the conversations brings back fond memories of your birth country. Destiny brought you to this man. Glad you got a decent briyani for lunch. I enjoyed the video cos you have a knack to always create humour in the things you say. Just wish there were less trash around. Thanks for sharing your experience here Davud. Sending you much love from Kuala Lumpur ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹🌹
Almost in every video we see a trash river in Bangladesh..And the locals can’t understand simple sign languages like handshake(may be they are not used to it) but the locals are very friendly when they can communicate in English..I really thank the street cleaners here in Sri Lanka for doing a tremendous job in cleaning the cities even in the public markets..When Davud says Sri Lanka Goosebumps 🇱🇰❤️🔥
Brother the problem with Bangladesh is overpopulation. It's almost the size of srilanka with 8 times the population. So you can imagine. If our population was 2-3 crores Bangladesh would be clean like srilanka. If you go to any village it's very clean, but cities are a nightmare
The population in your country is 22.16 million and in Dhaka city alone it is 10.86 million approximately. It is too much. Then how it is possible to clean everything
Yes when I heard srilanka I get goosebumps too😳 I don't want to see Bangladesh in such crisis 😫 . Fortunately, our over population polluted Country is richer than srilanka and provides loan to srilanka. Best of luck brother 🙏 how can you have electricity now 🤔
I have seen very less foreign travellers video where they pay for locals for food and give money to locals. You are good many many God bless you and give you good health. Blessings from India
u should've tried bengali/bangladeshi desserts! most notable one is rasmalai. the origins are disputed on which side of bengal it was but regardless, it's a bengali sweet. sandesh, chom chom, good stuff too
Hey Davud, in my opinion you must paste an sticker of your name somewhere on camera or holding sticks.....it will be ease for ppls to find your channel
I have been watching all your videos in Bangladesh. Where are you now? I really want to travel with you, give you time, tell about Bangladesh. And to tell how the people of Bangladesh are.
I’m enjoying the way you’re saying not to drink water unless it’s a bottle water, & when u says otherwise we will sleep in the toilet 😂 I’m a Bangladeshi citizen & really enjoying your Bangladesh vlogs.
Brother what are you doing?? Explore the beach areas my friend not the slums. If you go to any country and visit slums it creates a bad reputation. Cox's Bazaar is known for its beaches not bazaars. Please do more research before visiting. Thanks 🙏
bro i think u r wrong...........he is doing right thing, there is no wrong impression on Bangladesh.......he is showing the world the great hospitality of bangladeshi people
Lol you need to do more research. Stop trying to impress the westerners and accept all parts of your own country. Beaches you can find anywhere in the world. Bangla slums are unique and famous the world over. Be proud of all parts of 'desh.
I have watched 3 videos of you. In a word, amazing. And your English speaking style is also very nice. I want you to come to our village, and present our village to the world. Thank you brother 💞 endless love for you and your channel.
Hi Davud - you should visit Sylhet is basically another city like Dhaka but quiet and nicer environment to visit also plenty of tourism and contents to do - Biman has direct fight from Cox Bazar.
In Bangladesh people think candy is also chocolate.bangladesh dont have any local chocolate. Bangladeshi company import chocolate and process in local factory. And in coxsbazar you will find burmese, thai candies and chocolate.and dried fruit too.
After watching this video, i feel more shy because i am also a Bangladeshi person, but here i saw lots of people who didn't’t understand your speech properly, because lack of the language skills. It's so bad but still i think and want that if I ever meet any foreign people or you i believe i will help them a lot after they don’t call anything Bangladesh is not so bed or less skills person 😬😬. Everything is a dream by the way to take our loves from Bangladesh ❤❤
Ur showing us a view of Cox Bazar that even the majority of locals who have been there a few times haven't seen !!!😅😅👍 I mean u go there to experience the beach areas & not the bazaars, which u will find in every other corner of this country !!😅😅👍 I mean..U have got the longest sea line there to explore which u will not even be able to cover in 2/3 weeks !!😅
Most of the shops here don't even use tap water but ground water, which I'd say is safe to drink even for western stomachs !!!😅👍 Tip:ask them if the water is from the deep(ground) !!👍
It's not that fresh deep ground water isn't safe rather that's full of minerals and that doesn't suit well for those who isn't used to with that like I always get gas and stomach upset when I drink those. So, as a rule of thumb better to stick with bottle water.
@@techyrony what r u talking about...deep water from the proper depth is just as good as any other water.. scientifically speaking...!!! & Yes some coastal area deeps does have a noticeable taste of iron in them & it's better to avoid anything that has a extra taste to it other then the plain taste of water...!!!
Elsewhere especially in west all street dogs were shot dead once because of which you don't see any street dogs there. In south asia it's not done and all street dogs live on what is left over or some food fed by passer by. Pet dogs are healthy under owners.
Davud why are you not exploring the sea beaches? Why you're showing the worst possible views of the country? If we go to azeebaijan and explore the slums only people will think azeebaijan is a dirty county. Please do more research
The people eat/chew betelnut,or pan, as it is known in Bangladesh. It is addictive and does have the side-effect of staining gums and tongue reddish orange. It's similar to khat chewed by Yemenis and Somalis.
Thank you so much for visiting Bangladesh, lot of love 💕💕 from Bangladeshi people.
Thank you for having me! ❤
U r to much good guy.pray for u bro.💛❤️❤️
