Last week, I walked 3 kilometers to Palestine to deliver two large boxes of fresh food, aiming to alleviate hunger among Palestinians. However, as I approached, I was stopped by Israeli soldiers. Despite explaining and showing them the contents of the boxes, they kicked the food away. This is a half truth. Full truth is the Palestinian children were not targeted. Only armed and combative children are targeted. And Israel ideally would not like to do that either.

As well as Hamas' own indoctrination of Gazan youth that has been documented for years telling and instructing children to literally take up arms and fight against the IDF and "occupiers". That and Hamas' idea of martyrdom, intentionally trying and getting Palestinian children and civilians killed by their own actions and the actions of the actual civilians and children that have been indoctrinated to die for the cause have aided in the unnecessary loss in civilian including youth casualties. You can put most of the blame almost entirely on Hamas for that. There's also the cases of mistaken identity where IDF thinks some kids have or are carrying out violent attacks but they aren't, those are tragic but like the name suggests their deaths are mistakes on Israel's behalf for falsely thinking they are combatants. I know these deaths are tragic but once a kid picks up a weapon or plants a bomb they are a combatant and under international law Israel is allowed to target and kill them. But in this recent and ongoing war Israel has not intentionally targeted and killed these innocent children in these "bombing campaigns" as they are called. No, they usually do the exact opposite same with virtually all Palestinian civilians, which is to evacuate a designated area because it is a military target by Israel because of Hamas activity in the area. They usually do this by dropping leaflets literally telling all Palestinian civilians to leave a designated area immediately as well as calling them on their phones and other forms of communication telling them to leave. Hamas activity can mean multiple different things such as the site is a military installation or base used by Hamas, the site is a location of a weapons cache or there are current Hamas members currently residing in those targeted areas. There's no reason why Israel would intentionally and specifically target and kill Palestinian children. That's just asinine to entertain that idea. And it's blatantly not true at all. Do children still die in these bombings? Yes for multiple reasons. Almost none of which are intentional by Israel. Israel will strike a designated target if they think or know there is Hamas activity or members in the area. This can get children and civilians killed if they are in the same area but it's not intentional that they are killed since they are not the targets, Hamas is. Israel does seem to think it's worth killing 100 Palestinian civilians if it means killing just one Hamas commander aka the 100-to-1 ratio of Hamas to civilian casualties. I agree with Pro Palestinian supporters that that is extremely disproportionate, callous and negligent and therefore condemnable BUT it is not intentional or desired to kill children or civilians by Israel. Again children are not targets. Hamas are the targets. Again I think even if the outcome is not desired it's still condemnable for Israel to fight a war like this. There has to be a better way for them to fight that actually DOES limit civilian casualties. And by that extent I would agree with you or anyone else that says Israel is not doing enough to reduce civilian casualties. Still not intentional though. Another reason why Palestinian children die in these bombings of Gaza is again because of Hamas. Hamas tells all of it's civilians not to flee or evacuate the areas Israel instructs them to leave. Instead Hamas tells them to stay so they can be a victim or casualty. This again is because of Hamas' belief of martyrdom and unfortunately they have fooled children and civilians to believe in this idea as well. Once again blame Hamas for that for literally putting children in harms way, telling them or intending for them to die so their death can be used as a weapon in the media to make Israel look like they are trying to target civilians. Still not true though. The only other 1-10% of the time when Israeli troops intentionally kill children is when rogue immoral IDF soldiers intentionally target and unjustly kill aka murder civilians for fun or to take out their anger. I agree these murders are actually condemnable because they are deliberate but they are not indicative of the majority of the IDF soldiers actions or the actions of the IDF or state of Israel as a whole. These actions are done a minority of the time by a minority of the IDF troops and therefore are extremely rare and are isolated cases and not commands by top IDF commanders. The IDF troops that are guilty of this should receive the death penalty in my opinion or thrown in prison for the rest of their lives. They are psychotic and should be ashamed of themselves. They are truly evil. I will say war can mess up the minds of soldiers and make them lose empathy and commit evil actions, I still don't agree those actions. These actions don't seem to be done during war time though, they seem to be mostly or entirely done in random isolated incidences during "peace times". No military or state is perfect. Still not indicative of the majority of the IDF or State of Israel. Other than rare cases, there is no evidence Israel tries to target and kill truly innocent children let alone civilians. So you can see I agree with many things that pro palestinian supporters say, but the claim children and civilians are targets, especially by these Israeli bombings are blatantly false. 99% of the time, that's just not true.

As well as Hamas' own indoctrination of Gazan youth that has been documented for years telling and instructing children to literally take up arms and fight against the IDF and "occupiers". That and Hamas' idea of martyrdom, intentionally trying and getting Palestinian children and civilians killed by their own actions and the actions of the actual civilians and children that have been indoctrinated to die for the cause have aided in the unnecessary loss in civilian including youth casualties. You can put most of the blame almost entirely on Hamas for that. There's also the cases of mistaken identity where IDF thinks some kids have or are carrying out violent attacks but they aren't, those are tragic but like the name suggests their deaths are mistakes on Israel's behalf for falsely thinking they are combatants. I know these deaths are tragic but once a kid picks up a weapon or plants a bomb they are a combatant and under international law Israel is allowed to target and kill them.
But in this recent and ongoing war Israel has not intentionally targeted and killed these innocent children in these "bombing campaigns" as they are called. No, they usually do the exact opposite same with virtually all Palestinian civilians, which is to evacuate a designated area because it is a military target by Israel because of Hamas activity in the area. They usually do this by dropping leaflets literally telling all Palestinian civilians to leave a designated area immediately as well as calling them on their phones and other forms of communication telling them to leave. Hamas activity can mean multiple different things such as the site is a military installation or base used by Hamas, the site is a location of a weapons cache or there are current Hamas members currently residing in those targeted areas. There's no reason why Israel would intentionally and specifically target and kill Palestinian children. That's just asinine to entertain that idea. And it's blatantly not true at all.
Do children still die in these bombings? Yes for multiple reasons. Almost none of which are intentional by Israel. Israel will strike a designated target if they think or know there is Hamas activity or members in the area. This can get children and civilians killed if they are in the same area but it's not intentional that they are killed since they are not the targets, Hamas is. Israel does seem to think it's worth killing 100 Palestinian civilians if it means killing just one Hamas commander aka the 100-to-1 ratio of Hamas to civilian casualties. I agree with Pro Palestinian supporters that that is extremely disproportionate, callous and negligent and therefore condemnable BUT it is not intentional or desired to kill children or civilians by Israel. Again children are not targets. Hamas are the targets. Again I think even if the outcome is not desired it's still condemnable for Israel to fight a war like this. There has to be a better way for them to fight that actually DOES limit civilian casualties. And by that extent I would agree with you or anyone else that says Israel is not doing enough to reduce civilian casualties. Still not intentional though.
Another reason why Palestinian children die in these bombings of Gaza is again because of Hamas. Hamas tells all of it's civilians not to flee or evacuate the areas Israel instructs them to leave. Instead Hamas tells them to stay so they can be a victim or casualty. This again is because of Hamas' belief of martyrdom and unfortunately they have fooled children and civilians to believe in this idea as well. Once again blame Hamas for that for literally putting children in harms way, telling them or intending for them to die so their death can be used as a weapon in the media to make Israel look like they are trying to target civilians. Still not true though.
The only other 1-10% of the time when Israeli troops intentionally kill children is when rogue immoral IDF soldiers intentionally target and unjustly kill aka murder civilians for fun or to take out their anger. I agree these murders are actually condemnable because they are deliberate but they are not indicative of the majority of the IDF soldiers actions or the actions of the IDF or state of Israel as a whole. These actions are done a minority of the time by a minority of the IDF troops and therefore are extremely rare and are isolated cases and not commands by top IDF commanders. The IDF troops that are guilty of this should receive the death penalty in my opinion or thrown in prison for the rest of their lives. They are psychotic and should be ashamed of themselves. They are truly evil. I will say war can mess up the minds of soldiers and make them lose empathy and commit evil actions, I still don't agree those actions. These actions don't seem to be done during war time though, they seem to be mostly or entirely done in random isolated incidences during "peace times". No military or state is perfect. Still not indicative of the majority of the IDF or State of Israel.
Other than rare cases, there is no evidence Israel tries to target and kill truly innocent children let alone civilians.
So you can see I agree with many things that pro palestinian supporters say, but the claim children and civilians are targets, especially by these Israeli bombings are blatantly false. 99% of the time, that's just not true.
