YYS was clearly not on his day in this game though, he keep making mistake in his defense, usually he's more solid than this. LYD was rock solid as usual though, but he rarely got involved because ahsan/hendra keep attacking yoo.

gonna miss this match, never expect that both of them didn't make it in olympic rio. yys lyd lost to the malaysian player at QF, and ahsan hendra even didn't make it from qualification. and now lyd yys decide to leave korean national team, ahsan hendra will split up. Korea Superseries will be the last match for both of them being partner. if they are success goes to the finale, they will meet again for the last time.
And Now they Win 2019 All England and 2019 World Championship Title

Disini qt bs liat skill tehnik defens attack smw bisa qt lihat..pertandingan yg terbaik yg pernah saya tonton mrk legend2 yg prnah ada selalu seru jika mrka bertemu.. Penempatan bola yg bagus tdk sllu dg smash keras.. Lee pernah bilg smw lawan itu tdk mudah tp pemain Indonesia py karakter permainan sdri lain dan berbeda dr negara lain(hendra/ahsan)

I find the commentators biased towards Yoo Yeon Seong. He was not playing as badly as they shared. He also tried different tactics to neutralise the smashes and interceptions. I agree however that Korean pair needs to rethink their defensive positions (too far back) and predictable placement (the Indonesians move into positions even before they hit the shuttlecock). Very good match indeed.
Wrong analyzer Indonesia have different playing badminton, you don't defend but your attack not give the point you must break ritem Indonesia playin, the key is front cord Hendra and you must make Ahsan weak to protect Hendra.

+TheTTstudio yeah that was a brutal smash. Though I did see a few faster than that. For example, in India open super series this year, Liu Cheng hit one clocked at 407km/h (I forgot which match), and Chai Biao hit one at 410km/h, in MD final against Kolding/Conrad-Petersen
+Jack Y oh really! Wow I think we Guinness book needs to update that. Though I think after they installed the Hawkeye system, it seems like people seems to clock it faster - perhaps more accurate because the old system has the limit of 350kph

유연성 선수 실력 충분히 탑클래스이고, 수비도 좋은데 이번에 너무 긴장한 탓도 있고 아산 세타이완 둘다 수비가 더좋은 이용대 선수에겐 일부러 공을 주지않고 유연성선수에게만 계속 때리네요. 유연성 선수의 실력을 맘껏 다 보여주지못해 아쉬웠을 것 같은 경기입니다 비록 졌지만 힘내시고 항상 응원합니다!
Yoo is a very good player, and good for defense but he felt nervous at that moment. And Ahsan,Setiawan smashed only to Yoo not Lee. It is very sad for Yoo because he cannot show his skill enough, but I always support Korea badminton team for Lee and Yoo. Nice game!
this was probably the worst I've seen yoo play in terms of defense, usually he was very solid, especially playing in slow hall like in dubai.

in defense for Ahsan, What makes he always hit " behind-the-back shot" is not about the showmanship. That's ridiculous. It's from the stance that he and Setiawan tend to lend and open to their forehand side. Look at their rackets. So, If it is too late to intercept with backhand push or drive, they will eventually hit like that.

This is still the greatest men's double match in this decade... Both are true rival. I mean, both have great defensive skill and clever/high quality shots, moreover with the best front court player at that time (Lee yong dae and Hendra setiawan) make the match between them is on another level if both are in the good mood. The two pairs were very dominant back then. And i miss a match like this.. nowadays Kevin and Gideon are really dominant and i believe others country are looking for new combination to break their dominance, and i hope they find them soon. Just like when Ahsan and Setiawan first appeared in 2013 and quite dominant, even lee yong dae with his partner at that time Ko sung hyun never win over them. But later Korean came with new recipe LYD/YYS and be the new King and then the match between the two pairs were really intense, with best rallies and high quality shots, brought the mens double match to another level, super class badminton..
Nowadays the pair that almost success to challenge the Minions are Boe/Mogensen. But based on their age, i dont think they can challenge them in the future.. but china has Zhang nan who also has great defence. But he need partner who can support him especially has great defence and can anticipate the unpredictable shot from Kevin. So we will watch another classy match like LYD/ YYS vs Ahsan/Setiawan.. I think Steen Pederson also has say something like this at one of kevin/gideon match.. But, no offence, i'm still a fan of one of a kind, Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo...

I wouldn't say ahsan/hendra have great defensive skill, but indeed both pairs playing with clever/high quality shots.
despite the great rivalry between them, I still would put cai/fu vs jjs/lyd as the best rivalry in MD...all their matches were so fun watch...lot of long rallies, relentless attack, great defense, etc. that 2009 WC final between them was legendary...probably one of the best MD match of all time if not the best.
Ieka looking forward to han/zhou! once they stabilized themselves (they still can't adjust to danish style imo), it'd be a tight rivalry between the two.

Hendra Setiawan will always be my favorite player. I feel so sorry for Ahsan, he is struggling with his new partner. He deserves much better one, he is a beast. His skill is too good to be wasted.

I felt that Ahsan and Setiawan's offense was a lot more stronger and confident, and that is the reason why they won. However I believe that Lee and Yoo wasn't at their best.

That's not true. Other ppl are just comforted differently. If I made those mistakes (obviously dragging my partner down), it doesn't really matter if they show that they "care" tbh. It's still all on me. And don't you see LYD always giving YYS high-fives whether they win or lose a point (he's the one initiating them) as if to say good job or we'll get the next one? C'mon. Even at the end YYS couldn't get his grip so it's only NATURAL if LYD gets frustrated. I really don't see why you think he's not being courteous, or maybe you used that word not knowing what it means. Bc there's a deep boundary of where that resides
