even though the others didn't sing much. but America was just getting out of an era of pop bands where everyone had a similar formate, PCD would have flopped if they would have shared the lines and had rougher vocals like all the bands before them. as the late 90s-early 00 bands were dying, PCD was picking up in popularity. they weren't just carban copies of the Spice Girls, BWitched, Girl Thing, Atomic Kitten, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Five etc.. between 2002-2004 the music industry was taking a big shift, the PCD formate was different and it worked for its time. but now the fans want to see the lines shared more evenly for the next reunion. Don't Cha could be spicier if Ashely, Carmit, and Jessica could shine more in the song and performance. most of these band members have the attitude, look, and sassiness for these songs but they kind of get lost behind Nichole's shadow, On mainstream radio or something major like the awards or TV performances it made sense for Nichole to do lead. but they could've had a bit more fun & magic on stage during tour.
