I have a 1/4in Carbide that I'm on 5th hole and its taking 30 minutes to get through. And its getting hot so I stopped for a while. Granted there is an aluminum tile edging behind the tile that I have to go through for the glass shower enclosure. I have the shop vac with hepa filter and the hose taped up beside the hole to collect dust. Not sure what kind of tile this is 1/4in approx, previosuly I drilled kitchen tiles in 30 seconds for anchors with carbide, so wonding if this Diablo 50X bits are any good. Far from your videos speeds. I used a Diablo 50X sawzall blade to cut up the cast iron tub and it worked great over 1/2in thick it was. So curious why this carbide drill bit is so dull so fast. The soft aluminum perhaps?
Great presentation. Thank you for your time and effort to make this video and share your knowledge with us. Greetings from Croatia. Ps these bits are still to expensive to make max 10 holes with them
Thank you for your nice words.😀 All the tile bits can drill more than 10 holes each, but I only drilled that many to illustrate how well they drilled through the different types of tiles.🙂
When telling us the possible consumers of a good brand name, you should give item numbers or a link where to buy. I went to Home Depot, nothing Monster bits that's what I heard. Can you post a link. Thanks .

Great vid 👍
Not sure why the Monster with a wax core does not have a core cleaning issue?
Cheers
Make sure you have a garden sprayer with cold water and spray as drilling for speed and longer lasting drill bits
