I disagree with the second part. The kids articulated why they didn’t want to play him. They said he was a foreigner (ie African), and that he was too dark and would tan in the sun which made him self-conscious about playing in the sun, and one kid said he would be cute or handsome if he had hair like his and was white like him. These kids obviously didn’t conjure up their opinions and world views by themselves. Something or someone made them think that Dou Dou’s differences were bad or wrong.

Felista is super woman, all she does in a day is incredible, she gets right up and does it all over again the next day, ahe never complains about how tired she must be, I'd pass out just doing half of what she does in a day.
You have to respect her for her strength.
Also the way she helps so many of the elders.
The sad thing that happens here in the countryside, after the children grow up and move to the city for work our ppl forget about their elderly parents, coming to visit once in 10yrs if they ever come to visit at all, alot dont even send money home to help.
So thank god for Felista becuz she steps up to the plate and Uncle Fat helps alot too.❤

Like when kids didn't want to play with Doudou, it's not necessarily because of the parents. Sometimes kids just behave badly on their own. Even Doudou's teacher wanted to talk with the kids n correct their behavior
I disagree with the second part. The kids articulated why they didn’t want to play him. They said he was a foreigner (ie African), and that he was too dark and would tan in the sun which made him self-conscious about playing in the sun, and one kid said he would be cute or handsome if he had hair like his and was white like him. These kids obviously didn’t conjure up their opinions and world views by themselves. Something or someone made them think that Dou Dou’s differences were bad or wrong.

Most of us are so modernized that we could never work and cook in the same [dirt] clothing. I have seen Felista and family wash their faces and hands. What's very interesting, is the fact that everyone in the village country-side appears to be very healthy overall😊. I know the new home will have more amenities and I know the family will be full of joy 😊. It was so funny watching the two little ones walking with the fruits. 💕
