There was another girl who fell coming out of a full at the far right during the running tumbling section. Minor things, but they do take points for that. These athletes are so damn close to perfect, points for every little detail is all the judges can do to even make this a competition, unfortunately. Back when I did competitive cheer a longg time ago, the rules at our nationals dictated that we couldn’t have hair touching our shoulders and I have no idea how they even saw this, but we lost points because mine and one other girl had hair literally just grazing our shoulders. It’s crazy. At this level they’re far more lax about those things, but yeah they pick the routine apart.
