The equipment used here is impressive. Definitely the best way to get rid of stubborn stumps.
It sure is!
Machine is a beast! Destroyed that maple. Keep up the good videos!
That was a huge stump, good job 👏
Luis Tree Climber, it was a very large maple tree. Thanks for watching!!
U did amazing work man i learned and enjoyed ur video
Glad you enjoyed it! Keep grinding!
Great job man!
Good job Chris,, How do you keep from getting lost in those chips. I think I would be missing something and end up going back. LOL
Paul, I at the end I push all the chips away with the stump blade to make sure. It's really hard sometimes to do. Thanks for watching!
Hey Chris, another great video. I am actually planning to start stump grinding in the next few weeks. I have sourced a handlebar walk behind camon sg30. I reckon I will have to stop grinding and shovel away the mulch multiple times of the way through. Do you have any tool recommendations for a start-up stump grinder with minimal budget and a walk behind grinder and van? Thanks
@user-yw3tl8ez4h, I would say a Milwaukee impact, a grounds keeper rake and a get after attitude. Thanks for watching!!! Keep grinding!
Makin it look easy! haha
It's all the machine. Thanks for watching!
That machine is amazing how fast it gets the job done. I wonder how long it would have taken a homeowner that rented a dk2 to do that? That would be an interesting video to do to show people the difference in a entry level stump grinder vs something like yours or even one between entry and yours.
Backseat Driver, your right, I wish I had my old 252 Vermeer to compare the two. I ran a 252 Vermeer for five years before getting this machine. We all have to start from somewhere. Thanks for watching!!!!
Having owned 3 grinders, my guess is a little over and hour to do. Possibly 1.5 hrs.
Bobby, you are definitely right with the time. It took me an hour and a half with the cameras and grinding the stump. Thanks for watching!
Do you remove the chips at the end? Or do you just spread them out?
ChaValley, i usually spread the much out uless I have my skid steer on the job and then I haul it off. Most of the time I am doing jobs for a contractor. Thanks for watching!
@@ChrissStumpGrinding thanks!!
Chris so different types of stump grinder teeth make different size chips
Feliciano, your right! What teeth do you have?
Vermeer yellow jacket teeth
@@ChrissStumpGrinding Eight incisors, four canines, eight premolars, and 12 molars.
Good information.........I noticed you left a mountain of chips........Please talk clean up and how that works.
@randysizemore7243, in stump grinding you make more money "grinding and going.'' The cleanup takes way to long and don't pay enough for me in most cases. Thanks for watching!!!
What’s the cost to remove a stump like this?
$500, and it took me a little over an hour to do it. Thanks for watching!!!
Chris. Your engine will last a lot longer if you warm it up before grinding
Daryl Davis, I usually do it first thing in the morning before getting to the job site. I just don't film that part of it. Thanks for watching
How much cost for service?
Safiul, I think it was a little over $500. It's been a while. Thanks for watching!!!
@@ChrissStumpGrinding thanks boss. I bought a new house. There is a huge stump left.
How much did you charge?
Danny, it was a little over $500 I believe.
@@ChrissStumpGrinding That seems like a fair price for that job.
@@info781 yes, it was for me. Thanks for watching!
How about a SC 30 TX ?
Bob Dunne, if your starting that's fine if you can pick it up for a great price. You always move up later down the road after you start making money regularly. Thanks for watching!!!
You quite silly bro, one cut with chainsaw and you have saved at least 20-30 min of grinding
Yeah, but what do I with the stump cut after cutting it?
@@ChrissStumpGrinding give it to who owns it make a table or just burn it in fire place 😂 so much option

How u get jobs ??? Do u knock on doors???!!!
No, just word of mouth, tree services, landscaping services and alot of repeat customers over the years. I would do Facebook Market place and free listing stuff if I was starting out. Thanks for watching!
New subscriber here. Awesome job friend, can you sharpen the old teeth?
