In rural areas, these procedures are very loose. When I recently opened an account in a private bank, my email, phone no, and address were different from my KYC, and what I filled in the form. This is how messed up KYC verification methods are. Branch manager is the final line of KYC validation. These managers can open any number of fake accounts.
Yesterday, I fired a scammer. An army captain asked me to to scan his QR(red flag) to accept bill payment for order he placed at our restaurant on call. He said at amry they have only this mode of making payment. He first asked my available balance(red flag). Remember, QR scanning is done to make the payment not to receive the payment.
In avoidance of fraud, in my opinion that locking of Aadhaar biometric needs to be addressed as well. Many videos are brought out in this aspect from the police department as well. Thanks for the content. It will definitely help us to upkeep our knowledge and shall save ourselves from frauds.

Reached home and told this is municipal fine of Rs 6000/ for sticking private poster. So it is clear that how adhaar is being handled.
these scamster need not only your Aadhaar no , bank details but also your thumb print which is impossible to crack but when u lock your biometric many imp things which u need in daily life u will not able to do so and if incase u lost your mobile then for new sim u need biometric which was locked by you bro so u will face issue in unlock biometric as u dont have that number for OTP to unlock or to get new same mobile no sim or to block that lost phone sim ✅✅ SO don't worry if these scamster had your Aadhaar no , bank details by any chance as they also need thumb print which is literally in your hand 😂 and they cant authenticate and stole your money without thumb print but keep in mind always before using your thumb print anywhere always cross check the reason why someone is asking for the thumbprint

PAN based All india data base is legally available from NSDL Govt of India on annual charges of Rs.25000/-. All Banks - Insurance and financial institutions already use this data base. Any other Financial company can buy this PAN data. Phone + PAN + Aadhar+ Medical card+ Gas connection all are linked. All things are linked with PAN + Aadhar.

Crimes can be reported at cybercrime.gov.in/ or by calling on 1930 But as explained in the video, byt he time complaint is registered, culprits have already erased the data
One man came to me for rent . He said he was Army person and sent Aadhaar, soldier id card , pan card etc and wanted to pay advance. He asked me upi id for payment. He credited 1 rupee and then asked otp which I received. I became alert and asked why are you asking otp and why otp come to me. He tried convince me so many things but finally I checked that he was asking for rs 40000/- and hence otp generated. Immediately I blocked his no for no further discussion. Then after he tried me for few weeks with new no and different name. All those no I put into scam.

But he did not share any details like card no or otp. Later he found money from two of his bank accounts was totally gone!
I have been a victim to such UPI scam. I posted product s in Facebook market place to sell. A person contacted me from there showing interest to buy my products. Then asked for UPI number to make payment. The person said he is from Indian Army and their methods of payment are different. He asked me to scan a QR code. Then told me to type the amount there that he needs to pay. I put the amount and then the money got deducted from my account! Then he blamed me that it was my fault and I did something wrong. Then he said he will refund me. So this time asked me to put the original amount plus the refund amount. It got doubled and again got deducted from my account. I lost 22000 this way. Made Police complaint. But no recovery happened

I have personally seen few cases of these scams. 1) Received a message saying my electricity will be disconnected if I fail to make payment. The words of the message were poorly framed and also it was from a personal number and not a service account. I knew I had made the payment and was sure it was a fraud call. I blocked the number and also reported it as a fraud.

Google pay and phone pay are not product of bank...you is the one who is giving them authority to access your account.... So don't blame bank blame yourself... If you use bank products like YONO for transaction then such things can be avoided
I am an acupuncturist in Chennai. On Oct 9th i got a call from a military jawan saying 'Jai Hind' from nearby military camp asking quotation for attending 45 soldiers in that camp. I sent and he asked me to attend a video call from his officer to generate Gate Pass. When attended whatsapp video call he accepted me to attend the camp and asked to link UPI for future payments from military. He guided some procedures in Gpay. When the password was asked to type, i got doubt. That military officer compelled to type that for some procedures i typed Wong password 3 times and UPI got locked. He asked me to try with Atm card, i denied. The call was disconnected and my mobile got hacked. I reseted to factory settings. It was a bad experience i had. Thank you for creating awareness.

So i called mobile number provided in the fake message, not through my mobile, but using a landline. The person said he is Asst. Engineer from my state. I told him i have paid the bill. He said some money is still pending. He asked me to use my mobile and download a sight which he will tell me. I told him i will not do so. He was very angry. I knew he was a lier. He told me it will take only 5 minutes. I told him why are you in a hurry. I will go to electricity office, enquire and then pay. At last he was so angry, he told me a person will come at around 9 O' Clock and cut my meter. I said ok let him come i will be ready. Violently he cut the phone. From his accent i could understand he was not from my state. This is my experience. Take care.

Very Informative video 👍🏻 Even I’ve received a fraud call from unknown numbers twice and says that one of my parcel sent outside India through FedEx is undelivered due to unauthorised documents in it . When I said that till date , I have never sent any parcel to local address also and impossible from Mumbai address as my native address is hyd . Then , they created emergency to register a police complaint at Mumbai only. I have disconnected the fraud call and immediately called FedEx customer care and enquired just to cross check and update them fraudsters are misusing their company name .

We need to follow do not trust anyone formula. Do not pick any unknown call. Do not trust all the messages you received and click on any links. Immediately block new WhatsApp conversation if it was started by unknown person and report it back.

I think on line fraud amount Is enormous amount, Is it really impossible to catch the culprits, why? When everything is online and for money transaction KYC Iis necessary. If government officials are not solving the case, Then I think private parties should see if they can trace the person and as their services they can charge fees, or take percentage of amount recovered.
Offline scammsters : you will see people in front of major hospitals crying "my daughter is not well, need money for ct scan" OR " I came for job here and couldn't find one. So need to go home. but don't have money for fare", even they demand 500-500 from each. stay away from them.

I had a near escape once. A person called me saying he is from Income Tax Department and that I have filed a wrong return for the year showing less tax. I should pay up 35000 rupees including fine today else I can be arrested. He was quite rude and bossy type. The call smelled fishy and I asked him to send the details by email to me and I will check and pay. He asked me for my email ID. That was another ref flag for me . Told him to check my details in the system and you will find my email. I never got the email or another phone. 😊

A new type of fraud by a Delivery Boy of a Medical service On COD when you try to pay online, the Boy gives His Personal QR code to pay. payment goes into his personal account and customer AC gets debited Anyhow he convince you that you will get a refund, as some technical error next, he gives actual Company code and the next payment goes to the company But somehow customer forgets to check refund and loses money

Aise mai cross check kerna jaruri hai ki kya information sahi hai. Recently came across with this Mumbai Crime Branch call to check your parcel details urgently. But we didn’t responded anything and cross checked with courier company. And blocked the contact number immediately.

Adhaar is not at all safe. Open nude citizen due to adhaar. Government of India lost total credibility.
Aadhar itself is bogus. Linking of aadhar with bank ..made compulsory by jumlaman is responsible for this

Once I received a call from a scammer who was actually in India but said he lives in Florida US. I live in US, after some conversation, he was referring me to his manager but said until then you listen to a music. I said ok but please play a Hindi music, he asked do you know Hindi, I said yes, he cut the phone 😅😅😅
Be aware of an army scam about a rented house he will ask you for credit deposit or rent in advance via Google pay or phone pay.

Thank you Sir for the valuable information. I am from Kerala state. Fake electricity message came in my mobile last year. I called my husband to verify about bill. He said it is paid. So i called mobile number provided in the fake message, not through my mobile, but using a landline. The person said he is Asst. Engineer from my state. I told him i have paid the bill. He said some money is still pending. He asked me to use my mobile and download a sight which he will tell me. I told him i will not do so. He was very angry. I knew he was a lier. He told me it will take only 5 minutes. I told him why are you in a hurry. I will go to electricity office, enquire and then pay. At last he was so angry, he told me a person will come at around 9 O' Clock and cut my meter. I said ok let him come i will be ready. Violently he cut the phone. From his accent i could understand he was not from my state. This is my experience. Take care.

Even I’ve received a fraud call from unknown numbers twice and says that one of my parcel sent outside India through FedEx is undelivered due to unauthorised documents in it . When I said that till date , I have never sent any parcel to local address also and impossible from Mumbai address as my native address is hyd . Then , they created emergency to register a police complaint at Mumbai only. I have disconnected the fraud call and immediately called FedEx customer care and enquired just to cross check and update them fraudsters are misusing their company name .

If government officials are not solving the case, Then I think private parties should see if they can trace the person and as their services they can charge fees, or take percentage of amount recovered.

I had a near escape once. A person called me saying he is from Income Tax Department and that I have filed a wrong return for the year showing less tax. I should pay up 35000 rupees including fine today else I can be arrested. He was quite rude and bossy type. The call smelled fishy and I asked him to send the details by email to me and I will check and pay. He asked me for my email ID. That was another ref flag for me . Told him to check my details in the system and you will find my email. I never got the email or another phone. 😊

One person recently called and he was trying to pretend like one of our relative and was asking for money transfer. We recognized his voice and questioned him, then suddenly he disconnected the call once he realized that he was caught. I was socked about how this scammer knows about our relative.

On COD when you try to pay online, the Boy gives His Personal QR code to pay.
payment goes into his personal account and customer AC gets debited
Anyhow he convince you that you will get a refund, as some technical error
next, he gives actual Company code and the next payment goes to the company But somehow customer forgets to check refund and loses money
Aur ek fraud vi hota hai ... what's app PE MSG ata hai ki aap ka pan bank account me update karna hai nehi to account block ho jayega..aur ek apk file install karne ke liye bolte hai...

Ye fir Custom Officer or Mumbai Crime Branch ban ker Aapke kisi parcel k bahane se information le lete hai.
Aise mai cross check kerna jaruri hai ki kya information sahi hai.
Recently came across with this Mumbai Crime Branch call to check your parcel details urgently. But we didn’t responded anything and cross checked with courier company. And blocked the contact number immediately.
