Even if this flashback was from Genyas perspective, i feel like we got a deeper understanding of Sanemis character. Just from this you can see the warmth and love between all the siblings,the way Sanemi talked to Genya was so sweet. You can really see that the anger of these two is a manifestation of their trauma and it is so heartbreaking

I genuinely can not describe just how incredibly heartbroken i am. This was so utterly tragic. I will need some time to process all of this. The way they portrayed the emotion specifically in this episode was just amazing. The voice acting,the atmosphere and the expression of tbe characters made this so touching I can't even imagine the sheer pain and trauma these two have to go through because of how much loss they suffered,and how even in this brutal pain, they do not even have each other because of such a tragic and yet understandable misunderstanding.... This also shows us just how well written demon slayer is. The characters are not one- dimensional and very human. There is so much tragedy behind their anger. I am in so much pain because of this (while still trying to "regenerate" from Oshi no Ko). It's just so devastating
