Speaking as a, sadly, hardcore insulin user, the first time give yourself is always, always the hardest. it does get progressively easier, but man, doing it for the first time is such a hard pill to swallow. It also helps if you have absolutely no fear of needles. Wishing you nothing but the best.
Is it any different from other injections, or is it because one needs to apply it themselves?
@@joannaklimas-kangas5844 If I'm understanding your question correctly, I don't think it's different. Any medicine that you have to take as an injection is always hard when you have to self administer the first couple of times.

Following your journey and it brings back so many memories. I too suffered through endometriosis and infertility. I remember the sadness I felt when friends were having babies and my arms were still empty. But after 3 years of trying, surgery for my endometiosis and fertility drugs I gave birth to beautiful perfect twin daughters. That was 33 yrs ago! And followed by a son 30 years ago and then another son 29 yrs ago. Have faith, pray and God bless you both. Praying for the arrival of a piccolo leone!

Good luck to you both. I'm going through IVF myself and I have my egg retrieval coming up on Christmas eve. I will have a frozen embryo transfer a month or two later. My infertility was caused by low amh and low estrogen. It's a stressful process but you will get through it. Remember everything falls into place and works out in the end.
I admire both of you so much. I became pregnant through IVF 30 years ago at this time of year at that time i had a 1 in 5000 chance of getting pregnant. Please remember that you both are doing the very best you can. Perhaps in 30 years you will be grandparents like me, and looking back on this very special (yet stressful) time of your life.

Hi guys, I just wanted to say this to you : don't think too much about the "bad news" because nobody can predict what will happen, all you can do is hope everything will be fine and I know you already are doing your best. One way or an other you will succeed, don't loose faith, even when everything seems bad, remember that you're on the right path, it might be hard and scary but someday you'll be happy about all that you went through because you will become stronger I send you all my good energies and I hope your future is bright.

You only need one good egg. We have a beautiful son. We got 2 or 3 max each (3) times. It was worth everything. Don’t get caught up with the numbers.

*I had to give myself shots in my stomach every week of a chemotherapy medication for several years, and it NEVER got easier!! I struggled EVERY single time to push that needle in my stomach!!*

As a fellow sufferer of endometriosis, granted not as bad as yours, I managed to have 3 wonderful children. Also strangely the best cure for endometriosis is pregnancy and then breastfeeding for as long as you can.

Alessio, Jessi, non siete soli in questo cammino. Seguo da tanto i vostri video, mi avete fatto emozionare parlando e facendo scoprire la mia Sicilia, ma anche con tutti gli altri video dei vostri viaggi e delle vostre scoperte culinarie e non. Ma trovo questi ultimi video di una profondità che è difficile trovare al giorno d'oggi. E' già stato detto da qualcuno in un commento ad un video precedente: siete delle persone splendide a condividere con il mondo questo cammino cosi intimo e personale, solo per aiutare altre coppie che magari si trovano nella stessa situazione e non hanno una bellissima community come la vostra a sostenerli.
Sono sempre stato lontano dalle religioni, ma ultimamente ho ripreso a leggere il Vangelo. Ed inizio a convincermi che siamo solo strumenti nelle mani di Dio. E c'è sempre un motivo per ogni cosa, anche se noi non riusciamo a capirlo subito o non lo capiremo mai. Nel mio piccolo, ho pregato per voi. Forse ho perso solo tempo? Chissà!
Meritate tutto il bene di questo mondo! Siete delle persone bellissime. E si vede proprio dalla vostra scelta di condividere tutto, non solo le gioie delle vita!
Parlavate delle coincidenze (io ci credo poco alle coincidenze) riguardo al Leone. Eccone allora un'altra: volevo citarvi un passo del Vangelo di Matteo che si trova al capitolo 18 al versetto 19. E mi sono sorpreso leggendo l'inizio di questo capitolo: "In quel momento i discepoli si avvicinarono a Gesù dicendo: «Chi dunque è più grande nel regno dei cieli?». 2Allora chiamò a sé un bambino, lo pose in mezzo a loro 3e disse: «In verità io vi dico: se non vi convertirete e non diventerete come i bambini, non entrerete nel regno dei cieli. 4Perciò chiunque si farà piccolo come questo bambino, costui è il più grande nel regno dei cieli. 5E chi accoglierà un solo bambino come questo nel mio nome, accoglie me."
Ecco! Coincidenza? Parla proprio dei bambini!!!!! Invece al versetto 19: "In verità io vi dico ancora: se due di voi sulla terra si metteranno d'accordo per chiedere qualunque cosa, il Padre mio che è nei cieli gliela concederà. Perché dove sono due o tre riuniti nel mio nome, lì sono io in mezzo a loro»."
Non so se voi siete credenti o se siete un po come me. Pero' tentar non nuoce. Pregate insieme Gesù affinché vi assista, non è la medicina del corpo ma può essere una buona medicina per l'anima! Non siete soli! E scusate se sono stato lunghissimo.
Carissimo Giuseppe e' stato un piacere leggere questo bellissimo messaggio per noi era fondamentale mostrare questo percorso perché qualche anno fa quando cercavamo informazioni non abbiamo trovato nulla e abbiamo commesso tanti errori. Ci auguriamo che possono essere d'aiuto in futuro alle coppie e anche alle famiglie perche' molto spesso non sanno il percorso che affronteranno i propri figli anche perché si tende a parlare di meno! ti ringrazio di cuore per la preghiera e per i versi del vangelo ( non e' mai tempo perso quando si dedica del tempo per altre persone significa che hai un cuore gradissimo mi viene da dire da GRANDE SICILIANO) Grazie mille per essere con noi un abbraccio

It's so hard to inject yourself! I had to do injections in the butt and my hubby was too nervous to do it for me 😂 so I totally feel for you! ❤ stay strong and I pray something positive comes from this.

When you mentioned Tylenol something I read came to my mind, & I wanted to atleast infirm you two of it. There’s a lawsuit for pregnant women who took tylenol. Maybe you should look into it before taking it if you have been.

Wow, when you showed what the box said I felt like God spoke to me through that. When you see things like that and you feel strongly in your spirit that’s for you then that’s called a Rama word from God. It’s a feeling you get where you just know it’s a sign from God directly for you! God speaks to us in different ways and the way he speaks to me is visually and that’s exactly how he’s speaking to you! I pray everyday “today is the day for my miracle” so when I saw the box it was confirmation from the Lord that todays my day as well. God has also spoken to me through lions also! Little One to our home the next day. We've since adopted and have had our angel for 3 years. Even if you can't conceive, so many angels need loving homes. Though our angle isn't flesh of our flesh, they are heart of our heart ❤

Hi, I have never commented on You Tube before, but you two are just lovely! I wanted to let you know, that miracles happen. I too have severe endometriosis and I also have Crohns disease. About 15 years ago we also had trouble conceiving. We went thru 3 rounds of IVF with a big name hospital here in the states. We had from 7 to 14 embryos each time, but when implantation time came, we could only transfer 3 to 5. None would stick, and we lost all those good embryos. We gave up and tried to adopt. That fell thru and we decided to try IVF one more time with a different doctor. He found I had scar tissue in my uterus. They had to go in and scrape it all out. They then tried egg retrieval again. We only got ONE egg. The chances of this working were so low, as you know. That one egg fertilized. That one embryo attached to the uterus, and stayed there. That one egg, turned into one embryo, which ended up turing into one baby, whom today is our beautiful 11 year old daughter. So please, never give up hope. We prayed to St. Jude, the patron saint of lost causes, to give us a baby. And with God's grace, and a ton of luck and strength, we were gifted with our daughter. So, please, stay strong, keep your head up, keep laughing (that helps a ton too!) , and most of all, believe. All it takes is one, and your beautiful Lion will come to you. You two are beautiful souls who deserve to have the baby you always dreamed of. I am thinking of you and praying that your little lion will come to you. Lots of Luck and All my best to you both! Your dreams will become reality. Just don't give up hope. ❤

Im praying for you both and keeping the faith that this will happen. I had endometriosis that only grew out from my uterine wall over my cervix. Although i had many miscarriages i did end up having my son. Hes my forever baby,29 and autistic and i believe God gave him to me and me to him for a reason. An ice pack 10 mins before the larger gage shots helps a lot. Still feel like a pin cushion at the end. It worked for us twice (4 and 2 year olds), and we had four that didn't work. Three more left 🤞🏼 Best wishes on your journey.

Please consider those babes that are already born in this world it might be the child you hope to have and from what research I've done when somebody adopts it makes them more fertile.
It's not 100% guarantee but it's definitely something that increases chances with a couple.

When I've read about IVF injections before, the needles seemed huge and painful in my mind.
FYI, switch sides every time. If you don't, you can build up scar tissue there and not get as good results.

Well done, no matter the output. Getting into the process is hard. Out of experience, all can change within days, so there's always hope. And if it's not happening this cycle, it will in another. At some point, all coincidents magically fall into place. ❤
I know you’ve had previous endo surgeries, but is there anyway to remove the cysts that are blocking the follicles on the left side you were talking about? If so, I would have that removed if you have to try another cycle.
