This is a truly inspirational arrangement (thank you Mr. Son) that shows the potential for a piece, originally for piano, to receive new life as a piece for a small ensemble! Others have noted the use of a violin and the flute as voices speaking and answering, and the piano providing an underlying support that might otherwise be equal to an orchestra or at least a string section. Very creative and introduces people who might never have heard any for the Granado’s 12 dances. Of course, all of the ensemble players were magnificent, and how can one not give special recognition to Ms. Choi!! Everything that she does is prodigious. Bravo!!!

This is so nice! This piece sounds so soothing and lovely. Two kinds of sections I like especially: one is when all 4 of you play in harmony, such as the bit starting at 1:28 or so, and the other is when high, almost ethereal, flute predominates, like around 2:00. So much to like. This seems to be one of the 12 Spanish dances, and I wonder f we dare hope for more of them? This one is superb, thank you. 🤩😍
