Important difference that is not mentioned: TACACS uses different messages for Authentication and Authorization contrary to RADIUS which combines them. This permits TACACS to authorize a user specific authorizations (per command).
I read difference between RADUIS and TACACS+ : "RADIUS combines user authentication and authorization into one profile, but TACACS+ separates the two" .I really dont get it well, i thought k he means the Info stored and database about authentication and authorization stored separately. is it ?
