In this video we go over the brand new Son of Flash - the latest performance model from Way of Wade.
Cushioning is excellent given a good mixture of softness and responsiveness (full-length Cloud foam + Boom in the forefoot and rearfoot). Traction is amazing, dusty court performance is up there and the outsole should be durable for outdoor use. These run a little bit narrow and snug, so I would recommend going up a half size for the best fit. Stability and support are decent as well. For $135 USD, the Son of Flash offers great value for its price if you don’t want to pay the helfty price for their more premium models.

Can you make a video about shoes with a great fit and feel like a sock on your foot? I rlly hate bulky shoes and I want shoes that feel like they aren’t even there.

Neat and brief review as always. I would love to hear your opinion: I wear us11 nike basketball shoes, not a super snug fit but enough to accomodate my foot in a secure way. I have realized that us11 in lining is nike’s us10.5. I wanted to go half a size up in lining, but not every shoe has size 11.5. And now I am afraid size us12 would be too roomy and long in the toe area. What would you recommend? Keep up with the good work 🤝
Think 11 in li ning will be okay with break in time. 12 will be a lot of space
Thank you!! Yeah it kinda sucks that they don’t make a size 11.5 for a lot of shoes… I would say it’s better to go with the size 11 rather than the size 12, 12 might be too big.
without the flash logo, i can see the Trae Young 1 from afar if the TY1 has the normal lacing system lol specially with that herringbone traction pattern going outward the shoe

@@TommyLiu4 how about this, my previous shoes were the anta kt6 low, i have it for size 8.5. And I think it isn’t snug or small to me, but for the pg6 i went up half a size, and it fit me really god. I think it might be because the tongue of the pg6 is quite big so it embrace my feet into the shoes very well. I’m really confuse that what is my true size, currently i’m living in viet nam and there is no li-ning store that i can try out these. *update: i’ve just try out again my pg 6, there is still some gap at my toe. Hey, nice man. Honestly these recent Way of Wade have been so good that it’s so hard to even pick one over the other 😂😂 These two are both great, if I have to pick I think these are more unique, traction was also a tiny bit better right from the start. But no bad choice here lol

I don’t think so lol but we’ll see. So far you still have the best performer 😃 There are definitely shoes that have better value if we factor in affordability but performance wise the WOW 10 is just amazing.
I have KD14 and wear a size 9.5. What size would I get for the S.O.F or the All City 11?
The KD14 fit pretty good so let me know which size I should order for Li-Ning. And which shoe do you recommend for outside usage?
I’d recommend a size 10 to be safe. I wear a half size bigger in these than my size in the KD 14. Way of Wade shoes all have pretty durable outsoles, so you should be good to go for outdoors.

That’s a very tough one haha 😂 Two of the best shoes so far this year. If I really have to pick one, I think I’ll end up playing in these more because of how versatile this shoe is. Harden’s sometimes you might need a lighter and more breathable shoe depending on the situation.

Not exaggerating but there’s really no bad pick out of their current lineup. Maybe some recency bias, but these have quickly become my favorite as of now.

Hey man, price wise these obviously. Both are just great shoes that hardly have any downsides in their performance.
The most recent ball shoes I’ve gotten were the Mb.02 and Two wxy v1, and I got 10.5 in those. Should I get an 11 in these?
Yes that’s what I would recommend. I do wear 10.5 in those two as well, and 11 is a good fit in these for me.

When you talk about going half size up, I use size 11, but I don’t see a 11.5 size option on wow website. Do I go size 12?
Yeah they don’t make a 11.5 unfortunately. I’d say 11 is a safer choice but if your feet are wider than average you can also go with a size 12 since these are pretty snug especially around the midfoot area.
Thoughts on the impact protection from the cushion?
Decent. Very smooth landing, and good shock absorption.

Yes pretty much the same length. Width wise similar to the WOW 10 too. 😃

Umm it depends on if you sized down for the Dame 8. I wear a size 10 in Dame 8, and size 11 in these. So either size 10 or 10.5 for you, I’d go for the size 10.5 to be safe.
even doe this is completely unrelated, is the solid rubber on some of the colorways of the MB.02 exactly the same or worse?
The ones I have are all translucent outsoles, and same traction performance.

@@goldenboss5957 If you like court grip and traction, then you'll love the Wade All City 11s. I went half size up and it fits well with a little bit of room even with thick socks. Did not experience any slips with it, even on dusty courts.
Is the cushioning stiff or soft?
Cuz im trying to buy a balance shoe that have good court feel and good impact protection
@@goldenboss5957 The BOOM cushioning is in the middle of soft and stiff which makes it comfortable on the court. Whether you jump high or low, you will feel it.

Would these be good for outdoors whats the best shoe for outdoors in your opinion . I Play outdoors only but most of the shoes I've tried usually hurt my feet and dont have good suppport and reccomendations.
So far I’ve only used these indoors, but they’ll be one of the first shoes I start using outdoors once the weather gets better here 😆 The outsole should be durable. For outdoors specifically, my go-to’s are the Dame Certified, Trae Young 1 & 808 2 Ultra.

Umm it will be snug cause half size up isn’t spacious either, but I think length wise it won’t be too short so you can go true to size if you prefer a really snug fit.

This is much better, and dust pick up is not really an issue.
I’m size 11us which is 29cm and it’s perfect but it says size 12 is 29.5cm which is closest to my size would that be the better option then the 28cm

These are bouncy but no not as much bounce as the WOW 10. This one is softer on feet and transitions more nicely.
