I was born in 98 so I never got the chance to see this like unlike my uncle. This is honestly one of the greatest sets I've ever heard. Unbelievable that this recording still exists.

Cheesy samples everywhere and quirky synths galore. Production hardware was more limited in capabilities. It gave the music that lovely homemade flavor that wouldn't fly these days. Daft Punk's Homework was a love letter to this exact era of techno. Things began to sound a LOT more polished and professional later on. There still is a lot to like in recent stuff but the naive charm that the early techno had is gone for sure IMO.
