Ngl seeing the kid at the end belting out mull of kintyre puts a smile on my face
Just wanted to come back and re-live this during the World Cup break.
As a longtime Forest supporter from the US (we’re talking 2006-2007 when they were in the 3rd division - League 1) I cannot express how lovely it’s been to watch each and every Nottingham Forest Premier League match with my infant son. He’s got his Ryan Yates kit on just like his Dad!
Thanks again for putting this together gents. Cheers! COYR!!
After listening to every podcast on the following Monday/Tuesday after the match, I can confidently say this is my favorite youtube video I've ever watched.
Brilliant. Cheers Nick.
Dane Murphy was a key appointment - Kudos to him and backroom staff for the loanees that made a huge difference!!
Brilliant summary of an unbelievable season. Saw some great performances and goals and the final 2 games were amongst my best experiences in watching Forest for 55 years.
strangely they were 2 of my worst ever haha
I’ve already watched 3 times, what an amazing season. Downs and the ups and the ultimate feeling of euphoria. Brilliant.
Tears streaming again ⭐️🌳⭐️
Fabulous, all the emotions and faces over a rollercoaster season
Thanks so much, this is incredibly moving,When Forest are in your heart this video will make it hard for you not to cry
Godamn can’t wait….been a long time coming……when I think back it’s been a journey for me, started in the old colwick rd end with my Dad, always used to stand at the first gate next to main stand. It’s now ended up with me taking my kids to Wembley watching em get promoted after all these years and all the things that have happened in between. COYR
So great to see this! I remember every single clip. This podcast has got me through many groggy mornings in North Carolina. It has been an extraordinary season. I’m still pinching myself.
What a journey! ❤
I always try to watch the his video once a week I'm a dedicated fan of the podcast
This video brought me to tears tonight love your dedication Matt.
Tell me it's going to be okay Garry it's going to be ok we will beat them
Matt, top draw content this year and to Temps, Mikey and Greg - you’ve absolutely nailed it week in week out in terms of being the voice for the rest of us. I find myself consistently nodding along to what you guys say week in week out so kudos to you all for making this a really great listen. Premier League man, WTF 😂
Followed forest around from around 85 to 93 all over the country went to so many memorable games glad to see the forest back in the top flight
Seen it before haha. I found it all surreal, i actually felt like i do on an airplane when i sort of sit still trying not to rock the thing for the entire journey , nervous, believing we would get there , trying unsuccessfully not to think about it too much and get carried away. I got folk to back us at 66/1 for promotion so i was believing it quite early under Muph n Coops.
Love the story this video tells. From the depths of despair to the ecstasy of the final at Wembley, you couldn’t write it. Love the raw emotion and optimism of Greg and Fletch post play off final, true reds.
11:00 Greg has some very wise words here, and it's starting to come true.
That was a brilliant watch… thank you 😀
Great vid Matt..
This club has saved my life on numerous occasions xx
Steve Cooper is a World Cup Winner in 2017 FiFa U-17 World Cup.
Credit too to Dane Murphy for choosing the best replacement for Hughton
he was as distraught as us, was it the Middlesboro game? then he sacked him and got cooper over howe and wilder etc. brilliant. Kinda great that we had no real pre conceived ideas about him despite the sour swans
Greg's prediction hahahahaha Spot on!
Watching this AGAIN and Greg at 11:10 is so on point for the following (this) season...
Funny how a whole season mapes out from bottom to top ..great video and to be fair your home crowd could get u a few win’s you probably thought u wouldn’t get like Arsenal and Man U .so I think u might do ok … good look and have a great season 👍🏻💙🤍💙
I've always enjoyed Matt's first question to Greg, '.....so Greg how are you' 😂😂😂😂
Mostly out of fear for his well being :)
@@garibaldired Again, can’t thank you enough for the podcast/Garibadi Zoom calls as it’s been great to hear everyone’s thoughts and feelings on what has been such a rollercoaster season, that’s actually ended in total success. Looking forward to next seasons and hopefully we can keep Samba as well 👍👍
What a video Matt!! Still pinching myself. Premier League!! Whoop!!
What a story!! Brilliant content :)
Mystic Greg with his prediction!
(I remember watching that episode thinking he must be on drugs 😁)
Brilliant season review... brilliant podcast
Love all the guests you have on!
Brilliant
What a memorable season, I remember last summer watching the Northampton game. We were all on the same page and we could see that these players could challenge the top 6 but they were really static and held back to express themselves. Hughton was never the man for the job and he had to go. Just sums him up when Steven Reid took us to Huddersfield and pulled off that great performance, it was like when Mcparland and Barlow took over Megson you knew where the bad apple was.
Steve Cooper has been everything this season and I’ve never had a disagreement with him about selecting players or signing players, he’s the manager that we all could have dreamed of. I hope just hope he’ll get the backing he deserves from the owners and sign the players we need to get back into the premier league.
lol no way i thought they were top 6 material, irrespective of Hughton :)
I can't wait🤣😎❤You Reds.
Who's chopping onions again?
Does this mean we have to listen to Greg these days with all seriousness ;) haha what a run, what a topsy turvy season, even by Forest standards of the last 20 odd yrs!
COYR! Greg mate, give us your prediction for the Prem would ya? :)
just make sure your passport is in date mate for 2023 😁
@@gregmitchell1644 Yes COYR! :)
more a turvy topsy one :)
I hope Greg got a lovely cheap hotel for the wembley game
wolves finished 7th in their first season up !!! No more talk about the R word or finishing 17th !!
That was top draw darren fletchers speach brought a tear to a grown mans eye U REDS 👌❤🤍
"it's been emotional"
is someone chopping onions ? F**k
We could finish bottom.. I hope we don't, but it's a possibility.. We still need to keep Steve Cooper. You start from the ground up and who'd argue with a surname that makes shoes??? He has the ability to ground fans... Imagine what he could do with football players. (off the record I was hoping Steve would have a full season with his squad). My head is pickled right now. IDK if getting promoted is a good thing or not.. Money or not, we're still Forest.. My emotions are twisted, understanding that we may not have the same player next season... If that's the case, I just hope Steve Cooper keeps us above that dotted line. Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham... They all have to come to the City Ground and play infront of the City faithful......... You Redssss!!!!!!!
Best rendition of Mull of Kintyre I 've heard on youtube.. Glad I was one fan singing it. Can't wait to hear it sung from a Citty Ground with a new Peter Taylor stand... 35,000-40,000... My desire is always to be here.... makes my goose pimples erect!!!
it really isnt a possibility, we will have a full ground every game and will win plenty of games at home, thats just he way it is when we're rocking
@@PazLeBon Plan for the worst and hope for better. I'll get excited after I've seen some new player's come in and seen them play. Most of our key player's were on loan and as a result of that we've just advertised to the clubs we got them from, why they're starters for sure... They'll need replacing just to end up back where we started.. Hope that'll be enough.
@@mynamesnotdave695 lmao,i t willbe wayyy more than enough. The city ground wil lbe a fortress again.. i was there first time around, i know how this shit works ;) haha
#UpTheFoxes 🦊
Aged well
Brilliant!
There's only one true supporter who believed and kept faith.....the rest are fake and pretenders. Your club needs genuine supporters.....not negativity.
Lovely stuff!
Fletch gets its. It's all about the feeling. Forest have something most clubs desire long term It's the connection between the city and the club..it goes deep. I look at the plastics...think you have no real idea what it means to be a football supporter.
Absolutely brilliant a super rollercoaster that could not of ended any better and roll on next season cause it’s gonna be special what ever happens #COYR
