I was very sorry to see that someone nicked your pump. Though a fence is a good idea, it won't help much unless it's a three meter tall chain link fence with coils of barbed wire on top. But that'll be very expensive and not fully 100% secure - so plan B would be to hide and/or lock up your stuff. I'd go with finding a good hiding place (out of sight, out of mind), as locks have a tendency to bring out the bad in some people - if there' a lock, there must be something valuable behind it. Good luck with your endeavour, and I very much like seeing how you bring it along in your videos. 😊👍

I wish I had some ideas to help prevent this happening again, but I just don't have any suggestions. I think it will be hard to protect your property when and if you are gone for long periods. Building a fence around your property that’s a tough decision. I know you like the wildlife roaming about. Grateful they didn’t break into your other structures and steal things! You may have to remove the pump when you leave if that’s possible and the chain. Sadly people might return to see what else is available to take. If you own that corner of the "Wood" or rent it, you hung a trail cam, but what will you do if someone appears on it ?? Is there a way to better secure the well ?? a cheap solar panel good enough to keep some power to a security camera would allow for daily monitoring of the property with recorded footage of people who come and go. whether that would deter them from stealing or not is another matter. but if you were to capture them on recording it might be possible to identify them. either way best of wishes and hope you can recover the losses caused by the thieves.

Sir, considering all things,it may be a good idea to in some way set up your well system in a way so that it's hard or impossible for someone to intentionally contaminate your well water. I'm 45 and I know the world we live in today is not like it was when our grandpa's were our age,it's much worse, you would be out there suffering if someone tampered with it, and might not have time to get help,I'm sorry I think like this,but I look around and see how it fills up the earth.not being negative,but honest.
Hopefully they got what they needed and won't get the next one,or maybe you have to take it out when your not there and leave it in the cabin. You should put some wild life cameras to watch the area to see what other wildlife comes around . 👀👀👀 U.S.A. California .

I'm not so sure a fence would help you much ( if I heard you correctly ) . I think that the idea someone else had of some signs and maybe a fake camera or two would do you wonders . Might even be worth it to put some real game cameras up high in the trees where they likely won't be spotted .

Sir, considering all things,it may be a good idea to in some way set up your well system in a way so that it's hard or impossible for someone to intentionally contaminate your well water. I'm 45 and I know the world we live in today is not like it was when our grandpa's were our age,it's much worse, you would be out there suffering if someone tampered with it, and might not have time to get help,I'm sorry I think like this,but I look around and see how it fills up the earth.not being negative,but honest.
Hopefully they got what they needed and won't get the next one,or maybe you have to take it out when your not there and leave it in the cabin. You should put some wild life cameras to watch the area to see what other wildlife comes around . 👀👀👀 U.S.A. California .

I'm not so sure a fence would help you much ( if I heard you correctly ) . I think that the idea someone else had of some signs and maybe a fake camera or two would do you wonders . Might even be worth it to put some real game cameras up high in the trees where they likely won't be spotted .

I bet it was some moron who came across your videos and wanted some twisted moment of fame by seeing his handywork on a youtube channel, I've seen that happen before on other channels.. . maybe game cams secured high in a few trees will help you in the future... sad that even out in the wilderness, you have to lock things up.
