@@bluestachion488 It's possible. I watched another video on the mei course that had the 10 seconds removed. It is significantly harder but it is possible to get the five stars, and after many, many, many attempts I finally got it.
Was trying to get 5 stars on recruit while also trying to collect all emblems, went looking for guides and it turns out that you just... don't, lmao. Idk if I like the way this was made, but ig it's part of speedrunning to get only the things you need for a better score/time and leaving out useless things.
I genuinely find the hero "mastery" challenges *really* stupid. The only thing you're mastering is one very specific min-maxed route that you need to follow with no deviation, otherwise it's just not 5 stars. Why even bother design these courses so that they have multiple paths? I don't think there is a single one where you can actually choose one that isn't the most optimal one and get 5 stars. Genuinely do not understand the point. But hey I have mastered finding these guides and following them I guess, woohoo.
@@ElectricNoxThere's ways to get all stars and all kills in both the first two levels, I haven't checked if it's possible in the third level (because that'd be a spoiler for me - haven't got my 5 stars yet)
Tysm, I spent like four hours in s6 to get the spray but idk if im going to do it(ironically i play a lot of DVa and Mei and Lucio is my main) but this helped me get the weapon charm, so it is very much appreciated.

Same it was driving me crazy so I had to RUclips it. Wish I would’ve realized I was getting screwed before grinding it out for an hour
Yeah they recently made it 10 seconds shorter, so this no longer works.

i was always 10 seconds short using this route and was driving myself fucking crazy... It's shorter. Please update this
So now you get less time. you got 1:20 in this video I only got 1:09 to beat it.
