There are cops who are sincerely good people who became officers because they believe in justice and upholding it. But unfortunately, they are the minority. The existence of nice cops doesn't change the fact that the American police system is deeply, dangerously flawed. It puts power in the hands of racists and abusers, then protects them from consequences. When people condemn police officers, they're doing it because those cops are willingly contributing to this system, no matter how nice they are personally. Innocents are being murdered, and their killers are getting away with it. Try to think of it this way. Nazis are bad. Statistically, there were probably Nazi soldiers who were drafted against their will and rebelled, but when people say "Nazis are bad" you don't say "Not ALL Nazis." In the words of Kimya: there are some nice cops, but they're totally complicit in all the shitty stuff the racist cops are doing.

I completely disagree with the notion that good cops equal good police service. Якщо ти судиш їх у той самий час коли вони судять тебе,

Деяким людям подобається бізнес,
Другим подобаються числа
А третім подобається вирощувати екологічні, потомствені огірки
І вільні тільки з руками у землі,
Носячи старі потерти джинси і улюблену футболку,
Є такі люди хто почуваються кріпаками якщо над ними є пан,
А є такі люди хто без пана пропан,
Що б цей світ працював, потрібні кожні з різних типів
В нас у сіх різні смаки, різні сили, різні розуми.
Тому немає сенсу у тому, що б усе ставити під одну дудку,
Немає сенсу судити очима
Нам потрібно більше розуміння, більше доброти,
Якщо ти відкриєш своє серце, тобі можливо сподобається що ти там знайдеш,
Тому що є добрі водії автобусів а ще є злі водії автобусів,
Є добрі поліцейські у місті Медісон, штат Вісконсин,
Є добрі вчителя й є злі вчителя
Просто той факт що в тебе вчитель був злим, не значить що кожен вчитель поганий
Й немає таких хто б був добрим увесь час, ніхто ні є злим весь час
Поміркуй про те через що проходить той інший, що робить їх відноситись зі кривдою до тебе
Наприклад, може в них померла домашня тваринка, та вони почуваються дуже сумно у середині,
А може вони посварилися з кимсь хто їм дуже подобається,
Можливо, вони просто неймовірно сором’язливі, і весь час просто хочуть від усіх утекти та сховатися,
Я не кажу що це правильно, але якщо ми навчимося співвідносити себе з іншими
Ситуація перетвориться просто на наших очах
Та обурення випарується
Й тоді потреба у стереотипах стане застарілою
Коли ми зрозуміємо що усі ми, кожен з нас, дуже складні

Damn wow...i wish her and Patrick from Johhny Hobo & the Freight Trains, Wingnut Dishwashers Union,& Ramshackle Glory..would have met n got together to become friends n write music together. They both have this similar raw emotional humanistic thought provoking magickaly poetic quality to their songwriting n singing that seems to tap into the very essence of the human experience & both the collective & individual consciousness.
If u don't know either of them well i suggest liking them up n checking out all their music.
