This group is far superior to MT when they were at their peak. As for popularity, let's hope it will come true for this group as it did MT...this group is absolutely phenomenal!
No, they are NOT the best vocal group in RUclips, THEY ARE THE BEST VOCAL-JAZZ GROUP ON RUclips...the best a cappella vocal group (Not vocal Jazz...) in my opinion ist VOCAL8...
@@settembrini2 you mean VOCES8? first you are right, i omitted Jazz, but really also in jazz probably there are many other valid a cappella groups ... when I say the best I make reference to the interesting composition of the parts (always made by the bass singer in this group). If we pass to pop music we have a very wide range of vocal groups able to create modern and creative arrangements: I sincerely never considered VOCES8 in my listening list because I look always for original composition of the vocal parts and they are very classical; a lot of people are able to sing harmonization written by other, a few are able to harmonize. if you prefer a classical approach probably they are among the best.
What a fantastic arrangement! And the interplay between the grooving singers and exquisite dancers I find enthralling - tempo/mood changes of the two are so well connected. All of you look like you're having way too much fun! Vocal solos are all so well done. All in all, mesmerizing (I can't stop smiling).

I remember well loving the first rendition of this by Brazil '66 in high school in 1965 and on through the excellent arrangement and performance by the Idea of North, and also with Nossa's hip version. Now with Emily's superb arrangement and your performance, I think you've topped them all. Way to go! Please... do more! /RayK

I've always loved this song, and the _groove_ y'all brought to it is _killer!_ You're "brass hits" remind me very much of Swingle Singers, but y'all swing _way harder,_ and your _blend!_ YES!!! Arrangements and performances like this are _exactly_ why I subscribed! I'm of two minds about the slowed down part, so I guess I'll have watch this video...like...100 more times!
The singing is absolutely fantastic. Now when I look at the video with the dance performance the contrast between the dancers and the singers is rubbing a bit. Maybe it is possible to cut the video a bit differently. Sorry since you are all so professional I just like to give you a little point where I think the total performance can still be improved a tiny bit.
