Hello... I am Writing you from Russia .... use your program for several years since it is accessible to Amateur astronomers despite the fact that other apps cost about $ 600 for Russia, it is 38000 rubles is very expensive. Many of the old programs to 'guide' had not improved, and it is impossible to do Astro photos.... Thank you very much for your program to track and its the new revision ..... I hope you will continue to develop this application. we are fans without it as without hands......

What equipment do you need? Can you do this with a DSLR? Had no idea what you were talking about or what those graphs meant.

Hello guys, I have a Star Adventurer mount (1 axis) working with a Starshoot Autoguider (Orion). I simply can't find info about this mout configuration in PHD 2. Should I use the mount option as 'on camera' (ST-4) ? I don't believe ASCOM driver works with this mount. Any light will be helpful.
Many Thanks, you have a GREAT channel !
    Best regards

I've got a celestron cgem mount with an orion guide camera, operating under windows 7. however, I'm not able to connect to phd2. please advise. I would pay for advise if someone could call and walk me through it over the phone.

people searching for a fix for RA calibration failed: star did not move enough, skip to 41:00 :) although watching the presentation in its entirety is very helpful!

Excellent presentation. As a newb in astrophotography I do have a couple of questions. I'm using a Celestron AVX mount and I do believe I have quite a bit of Dec backlash. Should I disable the mount's anti backlash when using PHD ? or use both ?
Also did I understand correctly, do the drift align first and then the calibration?

    Terrific info, thanks.
I'm still using PHD but reckon it's time to move forward. :) Looking forward to giving the drift align tool a go and finally break the 8min sub barrier.

Great video and info. No disrespect but too many "ah" and "um" kind of drove me crazy, but wonderful info nonetheless.

Great info but I have never heard the noise "eeerm" used soooo many times. Even for Americans that was a bit much.

Andy is awesome. I had a problem with my dec failing (actually just not working) and posted a question to the PHD open topic forum. Andy literally answered my question within thirty minutes of my posting it. It was a Sunday. You know, that day of the week that most everyone isn't working. He's a very knowledgeable, legit dude. Great software, too. Thumbs up for the video!
