- "Brooklyn Nights" is a song written by Lady Gaga. She revealed the song title on September 20, 2013 via Twitter in anticipation for her then-upcoming album, ARTPOP, but the song was not included on the final track list. Gaga later confirmed the song would be available through the ARTPOP app during a Twitter Q&A. On March 16, 2014, DJ White Shadow confirmed on Twitter that he produced the song.
10 Years of Brooklyn Nights
❤
Can't believe it's been 10 whole years
😭😭😭
I keep coming back to this song even in 2020..
Me too ...
Sam Barden sammeee
melancholic masterpiece :,)
Big same
Even after rain on me just came out
Coming back after gaga acknowledged slayyyyters tiktok
YESSS
never left.
Always Good music, Lady Gaga ❤
This song leaked 5 years ago today and still her best unreleased song ever.
yea
I say Wonderful is 😭 but I digress
@@8r3n69I always thought Retrophysical and Honest Eyes were her best songs PERIOD.
The greatest thing 😭
nothing on but the radio says hi
I wanna hear all 90 songs she recorded for ARTPOP.
me too, I'm crying
At least we heard around 25! Also, Act II will almost 100% be released on day! DJ White Shadow even sent Gaga a text about us wanting Act II so so bad. Blood pop is working on a Chromatica - The Remix album, so I think maybe in two or three years (maybe the 10th Year anniversary of ARTPOP) we will get act II!
ARTPOP is my fav Gaga album and era I wish I could hear them too
Same omg
from the vault
Reminds me of something that never happened, and makes me miss someone I've never met... Nice job, Goddess
Javier Yus XD yas I'm not alone
Javier Yus And i started crying for no reason...
Same..
Reminds me of my 1st love, who lived in Brooklyn. I miss that, but we're still best friends.
OMG.I have the same feelings when I listen to some songs.
lady gaga should be sued for not releasing this
*interscope records
As much as we love unreleased work, it could be two things, A, she could’ve grown out of it, or B, her label didn’t like it enough.
I think suing her is going a bit to far. She or her label probably had reasons for their decision. Afterall, the future is not as easy to predict, unlike the past, everyone is wise in retrospective.
@@allthings.stranger I think she said it was tied with Mary a Jane Holland to be on the album ?
Life imprisonment for not releasing this 🤭🤭🤭
gaga acknowledged this song in the comments of slayyyters tiktok using it & just seeing her acknowledge unreleased artpop is so huge omg
I miss the ARTPOP act II era!!... oh wait *cries*
Haha 😂
dont even remind me😭😭😭 i was so expecting ratchet and partynausous
Skeletonguns9 this is so sad 😪 I will not forgive her until today because of that 😩😫😭
Skeletonguns9 not her fault. Look it up
Sertac Cetin well The Cure was an ARTPOP song. She said ARTPOP was about art and the second act is more about Pop
This song gives me the feels. When you move to a big city alone, meet new friends, and live for the moment. She gets it. And thats why I'll always love her. She lives in the moment. Its how I felt when I moved to Miami at 17.
Yes, I agree with you 😜😊, she is so 🆒
I feel you. I listened to this song on repeat when I was moving alone to a different state at 18.
Totalmente
i love lady gaga.. shes a real artist!
Exactly
2023 and I’m STILL upset this wasn’t on an album 🙄🙄
This and Party nauseous ft Kendrick
From 2050 here and I'm still upset
It was this or Mary Jane Holland, the record wanted to go with MJH and cut Brooklyn Nights off.
Also, you guys probably don't know this but Nothing on (but the radio) another unreleased masterpiece was actually picked up by Addison Rae in 2023 and it's on Spotify 🎉❤
Its so annoying right
not putting this in artpop was a sin
Art pop sin -_-
gaga isn't a sell-out. she's an artist
Hi! You are a true Lady Gaga Fan so do I, there is one of her songs I would like to get the Title of it ,but I can't understand what she is talking about ,hear that song all day long in the radio and they just had at dancing with the stars .to me it sounds like " data base, data base ??? can you help ? thank you !
Kerstin Trautwig ummm can you be more detailed? I don't recall a song that goes like that
Kerstin Trautwig Poker Face?
Kerstin Trautwig Applause? (A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E, A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E) I'm not sure. If you could be more specific, I could probably give you more suggestions. Sorry!
Kerstin Trautwig You mean All about that bass I think xD
The most heavenly Outro of a song I've ever heard in my life.. I miss ARTPOP era so much. It gives me so much nostalgia remembering how I used to listen to this song back then when the times are good and peaceful.
This is the best song that gaga have ever produced. Yeah im crying on the outro. Too beautiful
Why am I just hearing this masterpiece now?! Where has this been my entire life?!?!!! It’s the perfect mix of Techno, Pop, and Metal that I didn’t know I needed until now.
Never too late to discover an unreleased Gaga song baby...
Is there anything new or unreleased that I should know about?
[Verse 1]
I always thought it was you
You always thought it was me
We always thought we were it
Seemed like a real perfect fit
Those Brooklyn nights set us free
I always thought even though
We were so young, we could grow
Up in the end, it'd be us
We'd take the F by the bus
Where Brooklyn nights set us free
[Chorus]
It's not that I don't wanna love you (Wanna love you)
It's not that I'm really over it, you know (You know)
It's just that I can't watch us bleed to death
When we used to be Brooklyn nights happy
[Verse 2]
I missed our cheap chandelier
'Member when dad hung it there?
And we would watch Rocky IV
The one where the Russians scored?
I love Briggite Nielsen's hair
I'd call you my champion
Thought we had already won
And cracked open the last beer
Falling asleep in our tears
Those Brooklyn nights set us free
[Chorus]
It's not that I don't wanna love you (Wanna love you)
It's not that I'm really over it, you know (You know)
It's just that I can't watch us bleed to death
When we used to be Brooklyn nights happy
[Bridge]
I found an old pair of keys in my purse
That opened the walk up we shared
How did they get there, jerk?
I wanna see you there, I wanna make it work (Make it work)
I didn't brush my hair and my lashes are falling off
Of seven years of our bad luck dating
I want our last night there, a Brooklyn night affair
A Brooklyn night affair
[Chorus]
It's not that I don't wanna love you (Wanna love you)
It's not that I'm really over it, you know (You know)
It's just that I can't watch us bleed to death
When we used to be Brooklyn nights happy
[Outro]
It's not that I don't wanna love you 'cause I really tried and I
Just wanna hang with the old you
For just one Brooklyn night, adieu
Have a drink with your former self
We both won't act like someone else
Maybe then we'll both tell the truth
For just one Brooklyn night, adieu
2:08 love her deeper voice
Me too
She used it in LG6
“I wanna see you there, I wanna make it work” god the longing and remorse and hope of that one line is so damn powerful, Gaga is truly unmatched in terms of the emotions she conveys through her music
This song I used to blast, drunk, sad and alone… I was 23 and lost and sad. Gaga was the only person who understood me. I’m now happily with someone and this song means so much to me…. The ending kills me. Happy Birthday Stefani🤍🤍🤍 3/28/24
We all should ask for this song to be taken in count for the 10th Anniversary of ARTPOP 😭 I really want it to be available for streaming.
Hands down this is the best gaga song
And we get nothing but ugly merch, water bottle and Spotify canvas for the 10th anniversary
It’s 2024 and Slayyyter reminded me that I should be upset this was never released 🥲
2022 and this song never fails to amaze me, I love this song so much, I wish Gaga release this on official streaming platform someday
The outro is too beautiful
Same same same
the outro is arguably one of her best hooks ever. i will cry for the rest of my life knowing that this song will probably never be released in studio full version :(
Isn’t this a studio version?
Fuck studio version
I love this one
As much as I wish she released this song, it somehow has more meaning than it would if it'd been released. It's like. This special little treasure. And the only people who know it are us. It's like it's just for us. And it's so precious because we all love her SO much and we're here to love and protect this beautiful song that she's given us.
yes !!! this.
archives kind of things a true artist have and she know it
This is one of my favorite Gaga songs. Made me so sad it wasn't formally released :(
SHE ALWAYS MAKES ME CRY. She has such a talent for making you feel her emotion
I’m not having fun tonight.
I love you
❤️
This is better than fun tonight :(
Fun tonight and Replay best songs.
@sua's bottom I've been searching as well 😭 literally one of my fav songs on chromatica 😭
Year 8000 still upset this wasn’t on the album
Immediately came here after her tweets acknowledging Artpop Act II, this might be the year we finally get it guys 😭
I'm crying.
Yeah right XD
:')
and she acknowledged brooklyn nights almost 10 days ago (and she also acknowledged slayyyter)
@@dgaftillwediee on what or where?
Happy 10th anniversary Little Monsters 🎉 Such an amazing song. Would've been number 1 hit
The fact that an unreleased track from her has 2.6 Million views
This song makes me feel a certain way and I literally can’t describe it I just get this feeling in my chest. This song is amazing
Yes same
Melancholic
Gaga always makes the best music
ξ S L Δ λΛ you're everywhere 😇
Yep!!!
this is so pretty... sounds like a nostalgic club song, this is the first time I hear it
Luis Enrique Ferrer Zorola i've cried to this song. good shit.
Watching for the first time in 2024!
This got to be the best unreleased song in history.
I always considered myself to be a huge Gaga fan back in the day... and today for the first time I ran into this song. I cannot believe I have missed this song for years. my mind is absolutely blown. this song literally just has me feeling like 10 emotions all at once. how in the hell did this not make it to a CD?
she was between this one or jewels n' drugs but ended up choosing the latter one
Derreck Dombrowski omg same... im having gaga marathon right now. Makes me excited for Joanne to be released
+Dam Yonoros fuck. I've always hated jewels n drugs. It's the one song of gaga I didn't have on my phone
Nam Nguyen ugh same. this would have probably been a single had she chose this over that.
jewels n' drugs wasn't that bad...BUT THIS IS INFINITY TIMES BETTER
I feel like this song is iconic GAGA. This is the kind of energy we need in music. This is wonderful.
7 years later... I still want this song on streaming platforms it aged like fine wine
When Gaga said that there were gonna be some "surprises" at the ARTPOP Ball.. I hope this is part of that surprise. Such a beautiful song.
So happy for the people who heard it live! Unfortunately she didn't preform it the artRAVE I went to :(
Alealejandro She only performed it at Melbourne
Aliçou todo.
I HEARD THIS GOT PLAYED SEVERAL TIMES IN SOME OF THE MALLS LOCATED AROUND MY AREA OMGG SLAY
Probably some fan played it lol
it was actually on our local radio once
Jakob Golob Frank it wasn’t that much local, right?
Who’s listening to this masterpiece in 2020
Me. and it’s 04:31a.m...
Me here from Portugal greetings
Me!
2021 🥺 still crying ...
Im lissening it in 2021
She acknowledged the song Today🥺🥺
this is seriously the best song she ever wrote...
+Elizabeth Freyre you're so right. I think we can all agree her ballads comprise the best songwriting she's done
Don't forget Princess Die!
Best song she ever wrote? Lol I don't think she would agree, seeing as it never made the cut haha. Born This Way will always be the biggest, most powerful anthem she ever wrote. It touched a lot of souls. Saved a lot of lives
I think the best one is marry the night, especially because of the powerful video, which tells us a lot about the song and what it is about. And I love the sad version of this song that Gaga used in born this way ball.
+pallas anders you all are forgeting Dance in the dark
this is definitely one of my favorite Gaga songs
It's a crime to have so many outstanding unreleased songs like she does
Met this song years ago when I dreamed of moving to the city. Met the love of my life when I moved here 7 years ago! This song means so much to me 😭
Almost 2022 and I'm still here for this song
We all love it
SHE NEEDS TO RELEASE THIS AS A SINGLE FOR LG6
Wig vader she won’t and I’ll be sad about that forever :(
Its not in chromatica :(
Well, guess what mimi...
Didn’t happen 😔
too bad
March 1st, 2024 05:35am, just woke up and my ears demanded me to listen to this record, what a song, it still felt like the first time i listened to this song when i was younger :,) 2:08 THIS PART HITS MY YOUNGER SELF
March 4th, 05:24am, woke up with the same feeling
This is perhaps the most beautiful song I have ever heard. It makes me nostalgic for something I never experienced and it makes me think of youth. This also makes me think of M83 and The M Machine!
I can't stop crying 😭
The fact that this is going to 10 years old 💀💀💀💀 I’m feeling so old, I used to listen to so much when I was 12 🥲🥲
This song real reminds me of my old ex-friend. His name was Emil, I met him on internet and we fast became friends because of our big love for Gaga. He was my soulmate, like my brother which I never had. Even when he was lying for 2 years that he's a girl I didn't left him, when he told me he's gay I also didn't left him - we were like ying yang...
He showed me ARTPOP teaser when I had a mental breakdown because I was trying to reach one guy, I started listening to metal, of coruse it brought me to nothing, but Emil was for me always and I cried when I heard ARTPOP thanks to him :') I realized that this all was fake, and I love pop and electronic music.
Unfortunately one day we had a quarrel, blocked themselves and I lost a contact with him :( It's 7 years... Shame that we never met in real life, he was living 600km from me.
I think sometimes about him, and while listening to this song I I always imagine that we are walking through the city at night and laughing ;_; I miss him so much
Emil, I hope you're doing well.
A.K.
I think if she just released this on streaming services for the 10th year anniversary we all would have died
2:12 the best part♥
I agree
Love the chorus more
yes !!!!
3:12 is the best part
GRAMADO Personalização de Frotas Ltda. totally agree with you, the best way to finish a great song like Brooklyn nights
The way that this has 2.3m views speaks volumes… and is UNRELEASED. I still can’t get enough in 2024
2.7 million 🤭 AND it was blocked on RUclips for a couple years after I originally posted it. The demand is there ❤
oh those couple of years were dark times@@techhaus
GAGA, I NEED THIS IN THE NEW ALBUM @ladygaga
i'm always come back over here to listen to this masterpiece. it take me back to my youngest moment, when i never knew how much world can hurt us.
i love you gaga, since you showing up in scene.
This song it's so nostalgic, makes me cry! i can't describe with words what i feel when i listen this! one of the best songs by gaga :'(
Man that bridge is nothing like ive ever heard... gives me chills every single time.
I’m sitting here, 6 years later, just sobbing and feeling so nostalgic and lonely
Who’s here after Gaga’s posts about the ARTPOP ACT II petition?? Justice for ARTPOP!!
BEAUTIFUL! I wish she released this song as a bonus track on artpop!
This was originally the bonus track, but left off for unknown reasons
A For Alexxxxxx x Maybe because she's engaged and this is about an ex? :L
Flip Tee Possibly
Plus, the lyrics aren't that great, it's not very complex.
Moonlight This Temple and Tea should have been 3 bonus tracks on like a "Deluxe" edition of the album
maybe if this gets more viral on tiktok gaga needs to put it on spotify
this should’ve been on the album and it’s crazy it’s still getting comments in the year of our lord 2023
this song still makes me cry over the never released artpop act II era..........
The last hope for this to come out is November 2023 on the 10th anniversary. Here's to hoping💙
She should include a remastered version of this in Chromatica. 🙏😫
THIS IS SO ICONIC
Isn't it insane to think that beyond the material that gaga releases, she still has tons of INCREDIBLE leftover material like this that just sits on shelves... Thats crazy to me. (and yes, I know not every song is a gem, but she still has some other incredible unreleased songs, like Fooled Me Again, Retro Physical, I Wanna Be With You, Princess Die, Second Time Around, Dirty Ice Cream..)
Justice for Brooklyn Nights
Finding out about this song in 2024 feels like she just released a brand new single!!
Can all little monsters not just sign a petition to get gaga to release artpop act 2. Like cmon already
THERES A PETITION NOW!!
OMG, GO! SIGN THE PETITION! WE NEED TO SAVE THE WORLD!
Look to DJWS statement on Instagram
wow you were ahead of time for real
girl ive got news lmao
This is one of her best songs ever!!!
7 years later this still THAT bop I want the world to appreciate argh
This song hits me so hard... Love this musician so much
This song is pure life! Please release it gaga!
Nunca irei perdoar a Gaga por n ter lançado essa oficialmente
im so upset that this isnt released. I wish we got this instead of Jewels and Drugs 💔. ARTPOP was still fire though
This song manages to allow me visit the past, reminding me of all the things I've been through. At the same time it reminds of a person i so deeply love. Who was one of the many others whom triggered a serious depression, at some point i felt like killing myself. I still love that individual and still converse with that person on rare occasions (when given the chance). I just would love for them to truly love me back and know the great journey I've had to face along with the endless nights filled with tears. I would love for us to hang out again, i don't care if were dating or not, but i would at least like us to be friends so that i don't have to feel so lonely. My heart yearns for the past.
This song is now my way of allowing my heart to heal and calm down from the 3 years of feeling broken/ torn. This song has allowed me to move on and focus on the brighter side of life.
And for that and the many other wonderful things you've bestowed upon us, I thank you Lady Gaga. you will forever inspire and motivate me and many others to achieve the things we once thought were 'Impossible' may the love of the World follow you, making you feel safe and loved ♥
Man, thats so beautiful
💜
How's the past seven years been, Mark?
@@novayarussia been great ♥
allot has happened since then :3
I wrote that back when I was in highschool. moved on from that particular person. still a big Gaga fan tho, and this song is still on my phone even after all these years
I hated the beginning beats at first, but after you listen to it, you realize the song starts out happy, but by the end, it's slow and depressing, kind of like a relationship. #Slay
It’s 2022, almost 2023 and I can’t stop hearing this masterpiece ❤️❤️✨
still come back to this one.... so good. pop perfection.
This is some of her best work. Great song!
The way this song makes u feel high
Still listening in 2024 ❤ it’s such a good song
2023 still it's my fav song. The most underrated song. BROOKLYN NIGHT!! Love from the🇵🇭

I agree!!
2023 and I will not let go of this song
the ending is so lovely …
The best. Hope she releases it for at least the 10th anniversary 🙏
2024... & I still can't begin to understand how this hasn't been OFFICIALLY Released... 😭
I always get chills when she sings the last verse
#ARTPOP Forever
I keep coming back to this song, I can't get over it. I hope it's released next year on ARTPOP 10th anniversary
It's not too late to release this gem as a standalone single. 🤞
I'm officially a little monster :3
Welcome

Welcome to the world of ART
I am Katycat but, i love Lady Gaga 💗
Actually?
This song brings me to tears nearly every time I play it. God I fucking LOVE Brooklyn Nights
we need a release 💜
2021 and always here
Just knowing Jewels & Dung made ARTPOP but this masterpiece didn't kills me.
OK, but when she says "slap honey onto your pancake. We know how to make that money," I ascend to a higher plane.
I agree, I wish this song would have made and Nothing On (but the Radio) and The Greatest Thing!!!
But tbh it doesn’t fit with the art pop style if you know what I mean
jewels n drugs is great
The label decides not her
