SCP - 173 was the first SCP to ever be written and was originally first posted in 2007 on a 4Chan creepypasta board but eventually the concept grew popular enough that it moved to its own wiki website, and people started making all kinds of stuff. There was problems with copyright and licensing since SCP is Creative Commons. The picture of SCP 173 originally was of a statue made by a Japanese artist and he didn’t really like his sculpture being associated with this kind of stuff, they made a compromise saying as long as there was no money being made off it that they could use it, but eventually, the staff decided the right thing to do was to take the picture off the SCP 173 article so now as long as it has the three main details that are listed in the article the statue can be whatever you imagine it to be as long as it has the three details of it being made out of concrete, rebar and Krylon brain spray paint.

It’s invincible, but not because it regenerates or resists damage, but because it’s impossible to harm it, i.e. you can’t remove the blanket covering it, you can’t shооt it, you can’t set up a trap for it or even tell someone else to do those things. Everyone around it is also compelled to help it when it’s going after a target. The MTF a assigned to SCP-6096 has the lowest morale in the SCP foundation simply because of how overpowered it is.

Edit:I realise they both are still alive so the question is how did scp 001 survive scp 096?Because at the end it said it stopped screaming so it died but how did the scp foundation catch him if he died?
