If you have a good dr it isn’t very painful - its a routine exam for them, they have seen the crying and the nerves before so they will not care at all if you do, don’t be embarrassed! I didn’t have to get a Pap smear till I was 21. It’s not something I look forward to AT ALL but it really is no big deal and the benefit of preventing/ catching cancer is SO MUCH MORE important!!
