Tim is so much ago Punk Rawk Gawd, when his pick breaks, his guitar keeps playing the song uninterrupted... lol, but seriously, Much respect to 1 of my idols, love to see & hear these guys still doing their thing.
The entire story of The Used is so strange with the start of Branden getting axed in 2006 & then taking Brett's place... hard to gauge my feelings vs his actual playing tbh. Always weird to me when big bands that were more like family end up like this 15, 20, 25yrs later.
@@jibran4691 tbh he does a pretty decent job. Rancid has pretty simple drum lines, and it wouldn't make any sense if it was different. I do miss Brett though..he left the band at peak and maybe for the better. Hard for me to find a really good Rancid album after Indestructible.
@@MotoRide. he's just not consistent. You're right. rancid drum beats are simple. for a drummer playing at this level, he should be nailing the songs everytime. if metal drummers can nail the drums every time, so should rancids drummer. as a studio drummer, he fine but what drummer can't sound consistent in the studio. his drum tracks on the latest album are probably his best. he's not trying to do anything special.

He knew that I was in trouble
I was feelin' much like the devil
There was something burnin' deep inside of me
Ran into three Puerto Ricans
These girls took us to the funhouse
Where we played a lonely pinball machine
Hangin' on the corner of 52nd and Broadway
Cars passin' by but none of 'em seem to go my way
An' New York City
Well, I wish I was on the highway
Back to Olympia
I'm having a hard time understanding
It gets all too demanding
She's all gone and I'm stranded
Somethin' burning deep inside of me
All I know it's four o'clock and
She ain't never showed up and
I watched a thousand people go home from work, yeah
Hangin' on the corner of 52nd and Broadway
Cars passin' by but none of 'em seem to go my way
Oh New York City
Well, I wish I was on the highway
Back to Olympia
How many times will it take me
Before I go crazy
Before I lose everything
Somethin' burning deep inside of me
Ran into three Puerto Ricans
Those girls took us to the funhouse
I don't wanna be alone again
Hangin' on the corner of 52nd and Broadway
Cars passin' by but none of 'em seem to go my way
Oh New York City
Well, I wish I was on the highway

Is Tim's guitar plugged on?
Yes. You can see a right-angled plug in the jack - plugged in.
The volume has been turned down since 1995.

why would he leave? is there something I don't know?
