  • Breakfast can be many things: from a 10-minute quick breakfast to a 1-hour gourmet breakfast with more care put into it. Today I'm trying to make breakfast in 10 minutes, and one in 1 hour, and see which one is better.

    Hello, i wanted to ask you if you could do the national dish of Kosovo (Flia)
    Here is the recipe:
    *Dough*
    1kg white flour
    1L Water
    1 Pinch of Salt
    1 Tiny piece of molten Butter
    *Filling*
    400g of Cream
    2 Cups of Schmand
    100g of molten Butter
    200g of Natural Joghurt
    1 pinch of Salt
    1. Mix the ingredients for the dough until the consistency is a little thicker than the crêpe dough, add a little more flour or water if necessary until the consistency is the same as that described
    2. Mix the ingredients for the filling and season with salt
    3. Now grease a round baking dish (similar to a springform pan) or a round baking sheet and spread the dough out from the edge to the middle in a radial pattern, spoon by spoon, so that a "sun" is created
    4. The filling is now carefully spread on the free surfaces with a spoon so that the entire bottom of the mold is now covered
    5. Now place the form/tin in the oven on the top rail at 250°C and bake for a few minutes until the dough is brownish, then remove the form
    6. Repeat the same, but this time spread the dough in a radial pattern from the edge to the middle where the filling was spread the first time. Fill the free fields again with filling (there where the dough was poured the first time)
    7. Repeat this until the fli has reached the desired size. Finally spread a thick layer of the filling on top, cover with a kitchen towel and leave to stand for a quarter of an hour
    8. Serve hot.
    9. Flia can be mixed good with Yoghurt and Vegetables. This recipe is a bit complicated, if you have any questions inform me :)

    Gotta be honest. The 10 minutes breakfast wins. You should also consider the role of breakfast. A fast meal that will make you ready to live your day. Its doesn't have to be fancy it has to be fast, filling and nutritious

      @@wendyspaur4571 definitely, a great trick for making these types of "one hour meals" is to make a lot of that stuff on the weekend, and then just have it throughout the week. I do this for college, and typically have a weekly rotation of foods that use the same ingredients/sauces

    I’m Mexican and I’m so proud of your tortilla skills…you really got that recipe right!! Now you got to try them with some “frijoles refritos”! You’re going to love them!! Still you got to do a trip to Mexico to try the food there… some many more dishes for you to try! You’re going to love it!!

    Barely finished watching the first recipe before I got to making it myself! Took me well under ten minutes and turned out beautiful! Didn’t have yogurt so I subbed sour cream and added some cumin and chili powder to my eggs to add a little extra flavor! Thank you for the inspiration.

    zatar is also a plant. its leaves are in this herb mix and a lot of the time my family uses the leaves themselves and not the herb mix. very common in israel

    You should try Malaysian breakfast! It's called Roti Canai. It's a simple meal with a combination of pan fried flatbread with curry or dahl.

    This is Slovak breakfast and you need:
    200 g of minced pork
    650 g of chicken liver
    200 g of bacon
    2 red onions
    6 cloves of garlic
    250 g of butter
    200 g of duck fat
    a pinch of sugar
    4 balls of allspice
    300 ml of port wine
    2 sprigs of fresh thyme
    salt
    black pepper
    Clean, rinse and cut the chicken liver into pieces. Heat the duck/pig fat in a pan, on which to fry first the minced pork, and then the chicken liver and chopped bacon. After frying, add coarsely chopped red onion, finely crushed and chopped garlic and sprigs of thyme.
    Salt, pepper, add new spices, sweeten as needed and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Allow the stewed mixture to cool, remove the new spices and blend the whole mixture with a stick blender together with the softened butter. After that, it is enough to spread it on fresh homemade bread (or bread from market)

    Kwook, MAKE OUR NATIONAL DISH, PUERTO RICO! We call it “ Arroz con Abichuelas”, First, boil your White rice and cook your beans. Next, drain the rice and put the Beans AND THE SAUCE On the rice. Next, Choose Shredded Chicken, or Pulled pork ( either one is traditional) And cook that. Then assemble and eat!

    Can you please make a turkish azeri dish called menemen. I'm from bulgaria and been in Azerbaijan where they eat this dish during lunch. Tomatoes in a pan with oil. Stir them for some time. Add 5-6 eggs. Stir it. Add herbs and maybe serve with some cilantro.

    Kevin, mah boy, after you mix the masa, let it sit for some 15 minutes.
    It ferments just a tad bit and the dough gets a bit fluffy/effervescent.

    Try to do traditional Romanian dish (sarmale and mamaliga) and for desert chec or papanasi (eat the papanasi with jam and sour cream the sour cream needs to be more liquid but not very liquid)
