      @@sasy1533 hi Sofia
      I found the Faustian to work quite well for hair removal. It did lessen a red spot on my face as well. But as far as pigment, I did not see any results
      I actually reviewed it in a video and showed before and after of hair, skin and pigment, if you are interested
      I hope you are having a great weekend

    This stuff really works on very thick hair around armpits and bikini areas.
    Did nothing for my face or legs, I have used it for many years, until the battery just stopped working.
    It was the first Lumea made by Phillips.

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  4 года назад +2

      You may find the newer models work better. I have dark hair so it has worked well for me on all areas - although, as shown, I do still have some hair on my legs but it is sparse. I had IPL in a clinic over 19 years ago now which didn’t work well so the technology seems to have improved.

    But I've got a little bit confused , because the first 5 sessions went really well, the hair got fewer and lighter, however when I started the once in a 4 weeks session it's like the hair got back to what it used to be before using the IPL therapy , even the patches became larger and hair returned darker

Quick question if you don't mind, not sure if would be covered in instruction booklet or not, on my legs I've only ever shaved up to my knee, my regrowth was always much worse than my natural hair before ever shaving. If I wanted to treat my whole legs including upper legs/thighs, would I need to shave that first do you reckon, or could I treat it as is? Thank you!

    • @thehonestchannel

      So looking at the Philips website they say based on average usage for one user, the device should last 'years'. But they ask customers to contact them if there is a problem. After the initial more intensive period of treatment you're only really using it monthly - and less than that longer term, so you should get years of use out of it.

      @SilverShinepony 3 года назад +1

      @@thehonestchannel well I honestly didn't pay much attention to the growing direction during shaving and stuff. The other thing is that, at a clinic it will last waaay longer, then again reshoots at the clinic can be as expensive as buying a new Lumea. The Lumea only put the hair at a resring phase as far as I know, which means you have to repeat it once in a while. Real laser treatments at the studio (non IPL) destroy the hair follicles completely, but fine hair can still grow back either new hair forms or the hair you didn't reach during it growing phase will grow again.
      To each there own but its definitely worth a try and you can always sell it, if it isn't for you!
