Years ago I received a PP in trade, was a lil beat but was WW2 German marked, I ended up not keeping it. I really wish I had these vids to see just exactly what I had. Thanks for showing all these different lil things on PP's and PPK's, I just wish these were around 20-30 years ago when these were cheaper and more widespread.
WOW, really!? This man is very uneducated or has a death wish in the very irresponsible way he dangerously handles firearms, and I should know, as a range officer and firearms instructor, I see idiots like this all the time. 4-basic rules a firearm ownership: 1. Treat every firearm as if it is loaded. 2. Always point the muzzle in a safe direction. 3. Be certain of your target and what's beyond it. 4. Keep your finger outside the trigger guard until ready to shoot.
It would make sense to just say what you think he's doing wrong. You did everything but that. I'm assuming you are talking about him muzzling himself. Ever use a bore light?
Speaking of rejects. I worked a a meat packing house in the early 70's. We had a meat reject barrel for hams and butts returned to us for various reasons. When it go full one of the ladies would empty it by wire brushing the meat, injecting brine in and resmoking. So I like your story.
Tom the red grips are natural resin color they tried a batch without adding the carbon black pigment, it wasn't any cheaper and Berlin didn't like it!!
I purchased a walther pp slide a couple of weeks ago that’s only 13 units newer than the second pp shown. 389338. I knew what it was when I bought it. I was told the rest of the pistol was destroyed in a police evidence facility. It’s very unfortunate what happened to it.
I have what is clearly a GI in-factory capture Walther PP with mismatched serial numbers, AC stamped, no proof marks, and weighted grips. The frame serial number is 3845XXP and the slide is 3873XXP. Not sure if you are collecting data on these firearms or not. If so, would be happy to provide more information. Thanks for the videos!!
So many details to learn on these guns. Thanks for your knowledge and sharing them. Have a great day!
l have a war PP in excellent condition.....Thanks Tom....

They would be immediate post war
@@thomaswhiteman4261 Was told they were made for Russian front due to the cold cracking the plastic, as seen in the video.

Pretty interesting the germans still wanted to produce these guns even tho the resources could have went to more useful firearms
Your knowledge of this history is getting expensive for me. 😂😆😅
Love this video! Very informative

White gloves 😂😂😂😂😂
Saves him from wiping the guns down every time he handles them.
@@66smithra wierd !
@@totljag1 you’re not used to handling expensive things?
@@66smithraalways , but never with white gloves on , that’s weird , especially with guns 😂😂😂😂😂
@@totljag1 he handles dozens of multi thousand dollar guns with fine blue finishes daily. Gloves are common. Same with coin collectors, etc.
That was funny. "that's my story and I'm sticking to it"
