Love my JATO... Really an Associated RC10GT guy, but always wanted a 1/10 stadium truck with a 2speed, so finally bought one last year. I had to change the pipe though! That stock single chamber is LOUD! lol
My Traxxas cars that sit for months always have a clogged carburetor. I don't do any after run on any of my cars, the Traxxas are the only ones that do this. Have to blow through the fuel line to get them started
Always wondered if the "rattling nervous" engine noise after max throttle and you let go, is normal... Kinda have the same sometimes. I always think its because it just a but to lean, but it recovers quickly normal
Firstly remove the plug, pull the air filter off, spray WD-40 into the carburettor and head. Let this soak for a while and then repeat. About an hour later, gently with your finger try and move the fly wheel left and right to get it moving. If that doesnt work the first time, repeat whole process.
@nitrorc1speed2speed9 perhaps a little more care in refueling would be in order then. I have 8 nitro machines and don't get fuel all over my hands. Not ragging on you bud, but I've literally never seen anyone else wear gloves so I found it a bit strange is all. If it works for you that's good. But you may find it a bit easier to drive without the gloves, finer control...
@@lowellfunk8974 Let me remind you that methanol is a class 3 poison, which means that if it comes into contact with your skin, you have a chance of poisoning. It's strange that you thought it was a strange precaution.
@reaklyf3451 you obviously didn't understand my comment, I said I don't get fuel on my hands! In other words, I'm just a little more cautious than you perhaps! So yeah, I do find it strange. But when I do get it on myself it gets cleared off quickly. So don't try to play all superior like and think that my comment is strange. You're quite strange yourself sir!
@@lowellfunk8974 You're not alone in being so smart and cautious when you think that if you're careful with fuel, and you can throw out the precautions. One way or another fuel gets on your hands, and we both know it, and if for once you don't notice a couple drops of fuel on your hand, you are slowly poisoning your body. And how do you work with air? Don't breathe when you start the machine? See, you already have at least two sources of poison in your body. Yes, it may not be much, but it's enough to slowly kill your body.
Nice Jatto. Wooo positive vibes. Thank you for helping to keep nitros alive and not forgotten
thanks for your comments. Lets keep nitro alive!

That is a weapon
I bought my Traxxas Jato 3.3 last year. And haven’t ran it yet. Installed a dynamite mach 2 .19T just been enjoying its new ness lol.
very well tuned carburetor, congratulations sir!!
Thank you!

Do u leave the fuel in ?
Wow she’s pulling!! LSN is a bit lean though
I agree. Low speed needle is a tad too lean but the high speed needle is pretty much spot on.
Could be to the throttle not closing all the way had my Tmaxx Classic like that. But yes lSN is leaned out bit on his rc.
Also if you want better performance i Strongly recommend the OS 11K carburetor and Os lc3 glow plug. If running the TRX 3.3.

on the day of running, it was running out of fuel and the glow plug was dying. Should run better in next video!
The jatto is on my list. My next top 5 must have. Nitros
you must get one
Do the gloves make you feel powerful and mighty?
Wtf is that super long plastic tube at the end of the exhaust ?
Exhaust extention, designed to spray the nitro away from the wheels. Helps to get more traction.
I have a Jato 3.3 I haven't run it in about 2 years and the piston is stuck what should I do to het it running again?

Thinkn a little lean after speed run it is out of fuel some. Think open up high speed a touch. Things an animal
I agree and will be doing so, Also the glow plug was knacked and out of gas!
Why do you need gloves to drive an rc car???
Not keen on nitro fuel all over my hands - makes the controller slippery.

The high end is running very lean
Your idle is way too high my jato did the same thing I retune it my self riching the idle speed needle
