It’s a great place. Even better because after I go to the park, I can literally walk right next door to a semi pro soccer game in the evening with my buds at Toyota Field. Buccees, the outlets, Austin is less than an hour from the park. The only thing is 35 and its horrible traffic

Morgans Wonderland was built by an amazing San Antonian whose daughter needed a theme park like this. His daughter’s name is Morgan and she is a beautiful, tall young lady and always seems happy.
Gordon Hartman is the dad who has had much success in building homes and decided to use his expertise to help so many other special needs families and built this beautiful park. 😊💪👏👏👏

They also do a lot for the disabled community. I work at a local nonprofit and they donate thousands of dollars to promote inclusivity. The Hartmans are a rare treasure.

Lol no it's not. Total tourist trap like the alamo. Get ready to wait hours in line to get on a crappy ride. Spend lots of money on overpriced fast food and drinks. Forgettable gift shop that sells items 3x market price. Tons of walking without enough rest areas.

Buddy Schlitterbahn is a part of the San Antonio side of theme parks have asked a lot of people that my friends know who live not in San Antonio and also whenever I go to San Antonio, I want to go to Six Flags slither and SeaWorld Wonderland if it was well known as the other parks also just because San Antonio has really different like heritage to new Braunfels San Antonio has actually a really diverse population set like in south San Antonio. You have more of the Spanish and Mexican crowd on the north side. You have your true Americans out there on the east side you have China Grove and more of your country people and if you go a little bit more north to new Braunfels you get that German so San Antonio really has a lot of people from different countries

As someone who lives in SA and has been disabled their whole life, Morgan’s wonderland will always be my favorite!!! Been going there since I was a small child and will still go there no matter what (I’m gonna graduate in like a year or 2) I’ll never get tired of it it’s just so amazing:)

Idk if it's still like that, but years ago when I went children with disabilities got in for free! We used to go there often because my brother got in for free lol. It's a great place and the creator and his family are great people

I actually used to live about 5 minutes away from Morgan’s wonderland. It’s actually really cool. There’s even a pond they keep stocked with fish and they rent out rods for free

As someone from the area, all of these places are great. As a kid, I had a lot of fun at Morgan’s Wonderland on all of the rides. 6flags is my personal go to place rn and I haven’t even checked out the new water area. I haven’t spent much time at seaworld so I will redirect you to my favorite place in the area, Schlitterbahn. While technically not in the metro area, it is by far the best water park I’ve ever been to. It has fun rides for any kind of person, such as a lazy river, some slower paced rides for kids, and some decently fast rides like the master blaster.

As a San Antonio resident, I go to these theme parks all the time and I will never get tired of them
P.S. don’t try the food at sea world. Also bring a lunch to six flags the food has CRAZY prices. Go to the parks in the morning so it’s not too crowded and hot

I know plenty of people who are from San Antonio and they have all agreed with me that is considered the San Antonio theme park it’s maybe like 45 minutes from the airport because I went to visit my friends pick me up and took me straight there.
