Thank you for making this video,. I have a kenmore 700s and its exactly the dame part water valve wasn't letting go thru with LF code relpced it today and its back working and wife happy.. oh and the part was 70.00 ..Thank you.
Have a Kenmore doesn’t fill with water did auto diagnostics and it filled went they all cycles then Stop and said complete on diagnostic. Ok then I tried to do it manually by turning dip to heavy and pressed start button lid locked then I heard a humming sound then click and nothing after that no water
Thanks for this extremely useful video. Can things get clogged up below the valve? I changed the valve and am still getting that LF code. It also stops midway (30 min left total) through the wash cycle when it throws the code and I have to run a drain and spin. 😕
Your issue is similar to my issue. It’s not filling at rinse or spinning with power to properly drain. We’re you able to resolve your issue? If so what was the fix? TIA
@@100_Percent_Sunshine Yes, I bought the real "made in USA by Maytag" valve and all problems went away. The $20 Amazon knock off valve turn out to be a dud.
I bought a new vavle , installed it and the code still comes up. And yes I have fix this before , cars, lawn mowers etc. It doesn't come up all the time but it still shows up after the first water cycle. Thewater pressure is fine, no kinks water is flowing fine.
where can i buy the replacement for it, i cleaned the filters and i tested for voltage however only cold says 120Volts, but the hot is 0 or other way around even when i put it on warm. So only one calls for 120Volts
Thanks for your video!! Maybe you can help. I have a Maytag bravo top loader similar to that one. It does LF when I choose Deep Fill or when I choose the Clean with AFFRESH. It’s been working fine for years and now all of a sudden it does that. If we do normal wash without deep fill it works without issue. It only happens if we add deep fill or use the clean cycle. I assume that’s a sensor but not sure. Any help would be appreciated!
i have the same issue unplugged and tested the hot n cold water.. both work. .so it's on the machine side. but not even sure what i'm supposed to look at on the machine
@@jw6451 You can try replacing the water inlet valve like I did. The original one appeared ok. But for only $56 dollars I figured I’d try it. Low and behold replacing that part did it. Not sure what went wrong with the original one. But all good now!
I am not getting any error code. Does exactly what you said though - spins inside, sensing water level, but absolutely no water. I ordered a new valve, hopefully that takes care of it.
I’m having the same issue. No error code, but eventually the washer gives up on trying and the “lid locked” light flashes fast. Did the new valve resolve your issue?
That machine is possibly the biggest piece of trash ever produced. I think I had to replace every component but the motor in the first two years. And the control board TWICE! Don’t buy fancy washers and dryers! Buy the most basic models you can find with simple rheostat dials!
There is another issue that could cause this and I've just realized this today my DRAIN was not high enough I had my DRAIN set to the floor and as the tank filled the water was still sipping out.... The drain is supposed to be elevated to keep the water pressure level so only when the washing machine expelled water it pushes the rest of the water almost like a a p-trap
Thanks for making this video, and keeping it short. It helped me figure out where to start.
Thanks, this video saved me at least $500. You are awesome, reg!
Thanks for this useful post on the LF code.
I'm struggling with this problem right now, thank you for this excellent breakdown on what is wrong with my washer.
Thank you so much . I was trying to figure how to take the top off and didn’t want to break it .
You didn’t fix it??!
thanks for the video . i have the same washer not spining fast, any suggestion host?
Thanks sir!
Could the issue be a clogged valve? I ask because I am wondering if my well system could be sending debris downstream

Hay man. I got the maytag washer water don't fill when start the washer. But if I do service mode. Everything works. I'm confused.

What is the price on a LF sensor for a whirlpool Cabrio washer I got in 2018
I have the same Model. My Valve is working but the hot/cold screens are partially plugged , does Maytag sell just the screens ?

Did you ever figure out a fix? Mine has started giving the LF error all of the sudden but the water pressure from hoses is good

Thanks, man!
I've chased them down to a bad motor as well
Thats what I think I got. The pump motor was pretty warm
Thank you can you come fix my washer 😢
