Hello karan, I'm reaching out to seek your advice on finding a custom ROM that offers built-in support for VPN hotspot functionality. I understand that achieving this can typically be done by rooting an Android device, but I'm specifically interested in a custom ROM that includes this feature along with a VPN kill switch, and most importantly, doesn't automatically switch to a mobile connection if the VPN connection drops. I've heard that Havoc-OS provides this feature, but I'm uncertain about whether Lineage or Calyx OS offer similar capabilities. I'm thinking about buying a new 5G Android device that I plan to use primarily as a VPN hotspot. Could you please recommend a good Android smartphone, as well as a custom ROM that reliably supports this feature? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
I am not Karan but I would suggest you to use your WiFi router as a VPN hotspot. That will be more robust. Pretty much all router firmwares will let you do this or you can flash dd-wrt firmware otherwise.

And did it better! With much more customisation... And talking about Custom Roms, since this video is on custom roms, it can even work flawlessly on a phone that costs less than 15K! Can your iPhone do that, huhh? Can it?
