Coolio Stopped By The Hip Hop Uncensored Podcast For The Very Time. Coolio takes us deep with this conversation about a time he was approached when he was an artist to do something he didn't agree with. Coolio, is an American rapper, actor, chef, and record producer. Coolio achieved mainstream success in the mid-to-late 1990s with his albums It Takes a Thief (1994), Gangsta's Paradise (1995), and My Soul (1997). He is best known for his 1995 Grammy Award-winning hit single "Gangsta's Paradise", as well as other singles "Fantastic Voyage" (1994), "1, 2, 3, 4 (Sumpin' New)" (1996) and "C U When U Get There" (1997).

He was also known for rapping the theme song ("Aw, Here It Goes!") for the mid-to-late 1990s Nickelodeon series Kenan & Kel. Ivey originally rose to fame as a member of the Gangsta rap group WC and the Maad Circle alongside WC and his brother, Crazy Toones.

I have so much respect for Coolio, met and hung out with him almost 10 years ago through my cuz and the jewels he dropped to my college friends and I we will never forget, then seen him in my hometown like 3 yrs ago and he treated me, my daughter ,and my coworker/big sis like family, my child still has his autograph on her bedroom wall. Shut the whole rap industry down. Gangster music is unnecessary and inhumane. I recently quit listening to rap after being a hardcore fan for 30 years and I feel overall less stressed and more empowered to quit harmful addictions and make my life right in gods eyes.
I listened to rap when I was younger. As I got older and took time away I realized the core message in those songs is just plain bad.
Yessss right that music is demonic like really filled with alot of demonic spirits. I noticed long time after listening i became angry for no reason i begun thinking so wrong until i said enough this music was controlling me. Look at what its doing to these young people.
