I bought the LO26 version 1 in late 2020 and tbh although I liked the 500 watt power, the components were pretty poor quality and I did several upgrades (and thanks for your guidance on those things). But it was a waste of time and money- the motor failed 14 months in, and I ended up giving it to a relative for spares/repair. I then bought a byocycle boxer ebike to replace the LO26, and that's now got various faults. I'm now very wary of buying cheap ebikes. I think you get what you pay for, and at the £1000 mark the quality just doesnt seem to be there in the ones I've tried. There is a bike called the Legend Etna that looks very similar to the Samebike, and is twice the price- but the components look to be much better quality. Rather than potentially waste another grand on a samebike, my personal view is that its worth going up to the £2k price point, as I think you've got a better chance of buying a bike that will last.
Probably would've been best to replace motor on your lo26 for $54.00. If that's all that went wrong with your first one, I don't think $54.00 is bad. Good luck with your new bike when you get it. Take care and I hope you have a nice night.
Hi I've just bought the samebike lo26 like yours I was wondering if you ever worked out how to change the voltage to percentage and also the sleep timer because if you stop for sandwich it wipes your trip distance and time 🤔🤔
Sorry I did message before but can't find the upgrade bits that you have upgraded on your Samebike, any chance you could send me some Amazon or e bay links, it would really be appreciated mate!!! Getting a bit old for all of this!!!😊
Hi. Bought the samebike lo26 11 from your reviews But had a puncture on rear tyre. And you can't take it fully off due to electric cable. Imagine it would be simple to put a connector nr rear. So as to take wheel fully off.
I’ve got the LO26 500watt version 1. I also know nothing about gears etc 🤪 Can you show the gear settings you went up the hill in please, for both left and right gear shifts. I go up a fairly steep hill to get to and from work, and struggle to get past 13mph, and sweat like a trooper on the hill back, so I’m guessing I’ve got my gearing set wrong. Cheers
@@bubblesway Do the spokes come loose often and Is it just with these wheels or do all bike wheels have same problem? I guess you can't change wheels easily with these?
Hi just wondered what size suspension fits on these? I am going to order one but unsure what size fits it? I found one that says "Rockshox 30 Silver Tk Fork (Crown) A3 - 100mm - Black ): 1mm Steerer: 1-1/8 Aluminium" What are the important numbers to look for when buying one? thanks
Hi, my lo26-ii arrived yesterday, had no trouble assembling it. Took it out for a short test ride and it was fine. Put the battery on charge, went to it today and its not working. Any ideas?
Been struggling to get myself an LO26-II. either out of stock or the two orders I managed to place have been cancelled as unable to fulfill... any suggestions for a reputable seller?
